Bright, charming apartment located on a tree lined street in beautiful Condesa, the heart of DF. Explore one of the most vibrant cities in the world, and stay within walking distance of fabulous restaurants, shops, galleries, markets and parks. Our home is quiet and luminous, in a safe and walkable neighborhood close to all the action.
We'll share all of our favorite spots and recommendations and give you and insider's guide of the city we love. We know you will too!
We put a lot of care into decorating our apartment. We want it to reflect the things we care about, our passions, what we love about our country and about our travels.
We've decorated with objects we've picked up while traveling within Mexico and abroad. Most of our textiles are from the state of Oaxaca, as is most of the pottery. The floor is also from Oaxaca and was designed by American artist James Brown. Our dining room table used to belong to one of Mexico's most beloved writers, José Gorostiza (we've left a book of his poetry for you to enjoy). The artwork on the walls comes from Vietnam, India, Texas, California and Mexico. A lot of happy memories of wonderful places and people we have met.
There are two bedrooms, each with a full bed. We are proud of our excellent quality linens: all our sheets are 500 thread count. For stays of one week or longer, we will change all linens once a week.
We've left a selection of Mexico and Mexico City guidebooks to help you plan your stay. We've also included books that will give you insights into Mexican arts and culture. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
There is a futon in the living room. Please let us know at the moment of booking if you wish to use it as a bed so we can make it up for you.
There is one bathroom, located in the master bedroom. We provide two towels per guest, and for stays of one week or longer, will also change them once a week.
The apartment has a full kitchen (full size fridge, microwave, electric stove, toaster) including a Bialetti stovetop espresso maker and coffee. Street markets are walking distance as are organic stores and supermarkets.
Our apartment is a third floor walk up with no elevator.
You will have the entire place to yourself.
