Good location but a few things to consider before booking...
The studio is plenty big enough for two people, but I would recommend those two people be very comfortable with each other as there is not privacy when using the bathroom. The bathroom is right next to the living room/bedroom and there is not a real door between the two, but only a screen. Therefore, one is not afforded much privacy when using the restroom. In addition to this interesting quirk, the floor seems to be sinking. As a result, the bed slopes both away from the wall and down towards the feet. If only one person was sleeping on the bed, this would probably not be an issue, but I woke up with a sore back and neck every night while sleeping on this slanted bed. Lastly, in regards to the house, there are two flights of steps to walk up and no lift. This was not an issue for me and my sister, but one should know this before booking.
Finally, Julien left something to be desired in a host. There was only about 20 squares of toilet paper, enough for my sister and I to use the restroom once, when we arrived. No hand soap in the bathroom except what was clearly his person soap on a top shelf that seemed like it was put away so we did not use it. Many of the dishes were dirty in the cabinet, so I had to wash every dish prior to using it. Furthermore, some of our communication prior to arrival was rather curt. I chose to believe that this was a result of a language barrier/communication through messaging on airbnb. However, after making the mistake of putting his keys in the wrong mailbox after we left the apartment, I received some very angry and aggressive messages from him. I understand the trouble this caused him, but it was an honest mistake on our part. Rather than seeing it as such, I was accused of stealing and threatened with a 300 euro charge. I tried to help by asking for a photo of all mailboxes so I could tell him which box his keys were in, but he refused.
If you choose to stay here and leave too early for Julien to meet you at check out, I suggest you walk with him to the mailboxes so he shows you where the keys go and DO NOT accidentally put them in the wrong box!
