The space
"The Lodge" is a spacious ground floor accommodation.

One side of our Dormer Bungalow. ( my family & I only use the other side of the house )

Located behind 5' Granite wall & electric Gates ,
Shared parking
on a large pebble Driveway to the front.

The dinning & kitchen area ,tiled floor ,part panelled walls & a round table & chairs .

Build in kitchen with granite worktops and has the following:

- electric double oven & grill

& tea pot.

Living room (extra bedroom,has a sofa Bed if required , sleeps 2)
features a real fireplace opposite a curtained bay window.
high ceilings (10"6 / 3m) giving that feeling of spaciousness.

Is a small private area, suitable for smokers, (as there is NO smoking allowed inside), fold away washing line.

"The Lodge" is in the perfect location, down the hill a little (200m) to Dalkey Town &
Train station. You are spoilt for choice for great Coffee Shops, Pubs & Restaurant's.
The local Town Hall has a Museum
( next to the Queens pub )

The Lodge is also very close to the
'The Flags' a laneway that brings you up to
Dalkey Quarry and on to Killiney Hill Public Park.
This large Park offers several scenic walks, a coffee shop & a kid's Playground.

At the top of Killiney Hill you will find 'the Obelisk', from here enjoy the 360 degree views over Dublin City over the Bay to Howth, east over Dalkey Island and South to Bray Head and the Wicklow mountains.



Also there is a walkway called
'The Metals',
Near the "The Lodge"
next to the railway line
which brings you down the hill towards Sandycove and The Peoples Park
Dun Laoghaire .
(On Sundays there is a great food market in Park)

Also from the Dart/ Train
You can
Go south to
Bray, Greystones & Wicklow .

Go north to
Dublin City
Howth/ Malahide

Hi I'm Paul, My partner and I have two grown up kids that are 24 and 21 years old, ( both students ). and a black & white cat called Marcey. We run a small corner shop about 3 miles from the house which keeps us busy most days. In our free time we like to take walks locally in Dalkey, Killiney and Dun Laoghaire. In the evenings we sometimes travel to Dublin City Centre by train, or stroll down to Dalkey town for a meal in one of the many lovely restaurants or go for a 'pint' in one of the pubs. We enjoy meeting our airbnb guests and if you do book to stay in 'The Lodge' we hope you get clear and dry weather or, with a little rain as the Irish saying goes..."
