The space

The apartment: Located on the 4th floor, this 2-bedroom apartment has all of the charm that a building from 1911 would have! Tall ceilings, crown moulding, big windows, a patio, wood floors, and much much more :)

Your room: Clean and spacious. The room is furnished with a comfortable queen bed, a nightstand, a desk and a mirror. You are welcome to use the closet for storage, the restroom (of course), the kitchen, and the dining room common area during your stay.

Take a look at the photos and see for yourself!

Make sure to communicate with Lee about check in thoroughly before you arrive. He is responsive but know that there are specific requests on which locks should be used on the door given the keys you are provided. The cats will get into your room if you don’t properly shut the door - our room smelled of cat pee. I personally had a uniquely negative experience due to misinformation and improper check in communication resulting in being locked out in the hallway for a couple hours past midnight. Both Lee and Airbnb were responsive though the situation could have been avoided with proper communication prior. It is an older apartment but the location is great, quiet, close to downtown.

Not as clean as I would have hoped for. Dirty floors and pets leaving stains around the apartment.

Great apartment located in a really nice area with everything you need close by (delicious restaurants, great bars and downtown at a walkable distance)! Lee is a great host and was really accomodating. We had a wonderful time in Portland!

Lee and his roommate were super helpful in getting us situated. The room is private and the location is ideal for visitors to the area. One thing to note: if you are allergic to cats, there is a cat within the apartment. However, this was not an issue to us, but restating it in case someone else reads this. Overall, great experience - thanks again for allowing us to stay!

I've been living in Portland for about 6 years and it's the best place to live! There is always something going on: great food scene, music shows, arts festivals, outdoor activities, etc. I try to keep busy and enjoy as many of these as possible as well as travel every opportunity that I get.
