Our quirky and comfortable two bedroom house in the heart of St Werburghs with a huge wild garden is perfect for families! Explore your very own acre of woodlands, meadow and ponds. And if you're feeling adventurous you can also sleep out in the yurt.
Come and stay in our beautiful, friendly community surrounded by allotments, a nature reserve and a city farm. Also nearby are an organic supermarket, lovely pubs, a climbing centre, several parks, cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating.
On the ground floor there's a living room, open plan kitchen-diner and a conservatory. On the second floor are the master bedroom, which has a queensize bed, a children's room, with full size bunkbeds, and a bathroom, which has a bath and shower. Outside on the terraces are a small grassy area and a decking area with table and chairs. Beyond the terraces is a private acre of woodland, meadow and ponds, with a yurt, a compost loo, hammocks and other areas to explore.
You'll have access to the whole house, except the loft room on the third floor. The larger outdoor area, up the steps beyond the terrace, is used by a group of families on Monday afternoons and occasionally other groups may be there but you can be there regardless of who else is using the space. Access for these groups is through a separate entrance.
Interaction with guests
I’ll be in the house too, staying in the loft room. Happy to interact or not depending on your preference, though I’ll probably be working, sleeping or out and about most of the time.
