This 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home below the upper Balsam dam close to County A bridge, with stairs to dock on Wolf River so you have boat access to Shawano Lake, takes about 20 min to lake with 35 HP pontoon you can rent from American Marine. I'll send youtube link upon request. House is 3 miles south of Menominee casino and 3 miles north of downtown. Snowmo trails nearby, great place to stay for Packer games bring your family or plan a get away with your friends. WiFi and YouTube TV available.

The space
New appliances in kitchen make for an excellent culinary experience. All needed pots and pans are available as well as needed serving dishes. Wood burning fireplace adds to your winter ambiance but please bring your own burning logs, (I recommend you stop and pick up wood bundle(s) from local sellers or gas stations. Wood burning fireplace is for ambiance and does not generate additional inside warmth

You're in the country and somewhat secluded, neighbors on either side are quiet, private, and wonderful. Short walk down river's edge stairs to Wolf River access and current dock is reinforced and stable so rent a pontoon from American Marina and dock it here. *(Use caution on stairs as they are covered with algae and may be slippery)* And there is a pond with fountain on premises, which is good for ambiance with singing frogs, but not so much for mosquitoes. We do NOT recommend small children be unattended in the entire yard area, especially the dock and river area. Please supervise small children at all times and if children are taken down by river, please place life jacket as the river's current is very strong.

I'm a nursing instructor at UW Oshkosh College of Nursing and my wife Stephanie is the former Dean at Bellin College of Nursing in Green Bay, and now a half time semi-retired nursing instructor. We've dedicated our lives to educating many of the next generation of professional nurses, since we know, we will all need these skilled and talented professionals to care for us all soon. We've had multiple rental properties over the years, and now have remodeled this home at W7516 Old State Road A for AirBnB rental use. We're hands off hosts, but are available if you have questions or concerns. We've visited the supper clubs in Shawano often such as the Spinning Wheel, Seasons, Anello's, Classics, and Luigi's. Lighthouse pub is a great place as is the Sand Bar on Resort Road. We look forward to hosting those that wish to stay at our newly remodeled home between Shawano and Keshena.
