We would like you to read over these simple rules for our home and let us know if you have any questions:

1- No shoes in the house. You are welcome to BYOS (bring your own slippers!). In the future, we may provide them to share with guests, but is more hygienic that you bring your own :)
2- Clean after yourself. We are sharing our home with you, we request that you clean your dishes and just leave them on the towel next to the sink to air dry.
3- Be conscious about the energy. We try to reduce our impact with our environment. We request our guests to be conscious about the energy they use as well. Please make sure you turn the lights off when you are not using a room. Same idea with the hot water. Namaste’
4- We recycle, there is a white bag in the mud room where you can leave your recyclable items, just ask!
5- Quiet time is at 10pm. Most of the time, you will be sharing the area with another guest and the wall is a bit thin. They may be here for a super early hike or ski session. If you need to be on the phone or have a conversation, please use the living room or in nicer days, you could use the fenced patio outside.
6- Always close the doors. There are mosquitos and insects outside, we would like to avoid them getting trapped inside the house.
7- Do not feed Paco. He will give you puppy eyes if you are eating something, but don’t fell for it! We keep him under a strict diet due to allergies.
8- Feel at home! Mi casa tu casa!

Jeremiah and Lisseth are very nice and their dog Paco is so cute. The room was comfortable and the shower has great pressure. It was so close to town and didn't take long to drive to other towns.

J&L and their lovely dog welcomed us with great hospitality. They are very nice people with good character. We enjoyed a Netflix night and a good restaurant place nearby recommended by them. Will come next spring to watch bears and moose in the wonderful town.

I was glad to be back for a second visit to Jeremiah and Lisseth's warm homey house. But more than their home is the great hospitality they offer. Lisseth (who's just lovely in every way) was away so Jeremiah was my host this time and could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable. He is warm, enthusiastic and obviously enjoys people. I left each day to care for my very ill brother-in-law so to have fresh coffee and interesting conversation was a real lift for me in the morning and when I returned in the evening. Yet I never felt as though I needed to engage. He and Lisseth respect the distinction between wanting to talk and wanting utmost privacy. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings cheerful, and the room bright because of the sliders to the patio. The bathroom had everything I needed and the spacious guests' living room was a bonus. My family and I have traveled widely staying at bed and breakfasts. This rates right up there as a great, positive experience. Thanks, Jeremiah (and your wonderful Paco).

We booked Jeremiah's place just hours before we needed it, and he was more than ready to host us. The place was exactly as described and easy to find. The room was as pictured, clean and easily accessible. We got to know Jeremiah while we cooked in his kitchen that evening and we felt right at home. He was a wonderful host and his dog, Paco, was the best co-host! Thank you Jeremiah for sharing all your stories and being so welcoming. We will definitely recommend your home to our friends in the future!

Both Jeremiah and Lisseth are very sweet people but I couldn't rate this a 5 star because the accommodations did not match the price (they charge per person not per room). We were in the Lynx room. To get to the room you have to go down a long flight of very small stairs, I had to side step down them so if you are carrying luggage it isn't so easy. The carpet under the bedroom door was so thick you had to muscle through it to open or close the door. The lock didn't work either for this same reason. The bathroom is shared and we were in a room with a single bed and a bunk bed. I don't know how old the beds are but the springs are super loud. If you roll it is is loud. The mirror in the bathroom is so low all I can see is my chest. The location is great and the value may work for a single person. But there is no breakfast included and you need to clean up after yourself and even clear out your own trash, so the price did not match the value for us.

Response from Jeremiah & Lisseth:
Heidi, we are so sorry to hear you were unhappy with your stay. Here in the White Mountains we are currently the one of the least expensive Airbnb accommodations. We are sharing a space in our home with guests, we are not a bed and breakfast nor a hotel. Bed and breakfast's and hotels in this area range from $140 -$420 a night, you paid $76. It is possible that the understanding of Airbnb is not fully clear to you which we can accept. Asking us to move your car, serve you breakfast or clean up your dishes actually does not match up with what the Airbnb platform is built to do. An Airbnb "private room" is exactly that, a private room in someones home, that is all. Cleaning up after yourself in our opinion is the logical and respectful thing to do when staying in someone else's home and we never asked you to empty your trash, we do that for all of our guests. We do not charge a cleaning fee and because of that we do ask guests to be a conscious and respectful people. As far as the beds go, we have never had complaints about them and there is a lock on the inside of the door, so sorry you couldn't figure out how to use it. We cannot make everyone happy but we always strive to do our best.

Hi! My name is Jeremiah. My wife Lisseth, Paco (our Golden Retriever) and I used only Airbnb to travel around Europe for 6 months, visited 12 countries and we are now back in the United states. We enjoyed living in Airbnb's so much that we now became hosts on the website. We also run a Bed and Breakfast right down the street from our home. Because of this, we do not always sleep at our house. Our home is a safe, multi-cultural and fun place to spend some time in The White Mountains.

Paco is a professionally trained service dog who is very loving and never barks. He loves to be loved. Paco currently lives at the Bed and Breakfast so if you would like to meet him, come on over! If you have any questions at all, please just message us. Hablamos Español y Português también!

Hope to meet you soon!
