Quaint 3 bedroom row home, mere steps from the B&O Railroad Museum. Yes, the very same B&O Railroad from Monopoly! Less than 1 mile to both the Orioles and Ravens stadiums, as well as the Convention Center, and the University of Maryland Medical Center. About 1.5 miles to Baltimore's Beautiful Inner Harbor. About 3 miles to Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and 4 miles to Johns Hopkins. Easy access to the MARC train which goes to D.C. Bus stop nearby. Lots of parking in front of the house.

The place was tidy and just what I was expecting. The AC did have a difficult time reaching the top two floors, but that’s something I expected in an older home. The fans were great in that situation. The location of the town home was also great.

Such a nice house, the kitchen is great, and it's a short walk to the city. Looking forward to staying here again!

The house did not suit our taste. We were not expecting the neighborhood to be as urban since a lot of emphasis was placed on the fact it was located across from a well known museum and close to the ball parks. House was not clean enough to truly enjoy.

Edward definitely deserves his super host status. He was very responsive and very willing to help in any way that he could. Unfortunately, we arrived in the middle of the night on a Thursday (around 1 am) and when approaching the home from the west (about 2 blocks away) we encoun…

Response from Edward:
I don't like to write or talk negatively about anyone. I still believe in the goodness of people. That said, I do feel I need to defend our home from Nancy's attacks. I have never responded to any feedback so this will be a first. It is unfortunate that we live in a time period where people are judged by the color of their skin, rather than the content of their character. Some people are so quick to judge based on how others appear and unless said people look a way they are comfortable with, apparently the only other option is that those people MUST be dangerous or prostitutes as Nancy claimed in her argument to me when she argued for a full refund. When she didn't get her way, she made one final passive aggressive move where she threatened to write a negative review because I wouldn't comply with her demand. Nancy is the type of manipulative person that will say what she has too, to get her way. The reality is that Nancy drove by a bar (confirmed in her private message to me) that was 8 blocks away and some drunk guy crossed the street as she was driving by. Not sure how I can control that but ok. She then showed her true colors by saying she thought some of the women outside of the bar, were prostitutes. When I asked for clarification as to what type of person looks like a prostitute, she declined to provide details that would help me understand her conclusion. I dunno I guess for me, when I see people wearing limited clothing (which is what I am assuming since Nancy did not provide details) because it is 95 degrees outside (which it was that week), I don't immediately assume they are prostitutes, but rather, folks trying to be comfortable in the heat. Furthermore, Nancy cited our home as being part of West Baltimore, a dangerous part of Baltimore for sure, except that our home is in Hollins Market which is in South Baltimore. Something that I clarified for her and that she acknowledged in our private messages, yet she deliberately left out of her review. Why she would blatantly lie befuddles me and the only thing I can think of is that she has some sort of agenda or she is, as I said before, a vindictive person, angry about not getting a refund, and as such trying to hurt my wife and I with a false review. It's comical because over the course of a year, we have had 30 five star reviews and no one has ever cited feeling "fearful for their lives" in our home or our neighborhood. Yet somehow, Nancy does. So the question is, is the area really dangerous or is Nancy just the type of entitled person being vengeful for not getting her way because she felt uncomfortable by the sight of people that didn't look like her? As she stated, she never even stepped into our home. Her other claim about visiting our home during the day are doubtful to be frank considering we are across the street from a museum frequently visited by children and families. Are these families so bold to put their children's lives at risk by visiting such a dangerous area as Nancy claims? Doubtful once again. Exaggerations where Nancy claims the area is dangerous is once again her vindictive nature to hurt my wife and I because I refused to adhere to her refund request. Hollins Market is a diverse neighborhood for sure, with professionals and long time residents alike. The neighborhood consists of families that span all races, religions, and ages. Around the corner are lawyers, accountants, and other similar professionals. Our next door neighbor has lived in her home for over 20 years. Three doors down is a children's daycare. My wife and I would not purchase a home in a dangerous area and then rent it out via Airbnb. We are both highly educated professionals who work hard to manage our home in a way that ensures guests have a positive experience. We and all of our 30+ past guests I believe would agree as evidenced by the feedback they all left with nary a hint at the supposed life threatening danger Nancy felt she was under.

Edward's house is beautiful - very clean and well maintained. It is located about a 10 minute walk from Camden Yards and just a bit further to the harbor. Parking was easy and no issue at all. Edward was very responsive when we needed him. Would definitely recommend!
