Stiniva is a wonderful place! Ivana is very helpful and a sensational host. We can only recommend this place to everybody who wants to have a good time close to a wonderful beach and far from traffic and tourist jam.

A quiet piece of heaven in a beautiful cove on the island of Hvar. The house is one of a small number of houses in a tranquil, natural and authentic setting - it was a great base from which we explored the island. The house is well designed, spacious and immaculately clean. Bedrooms were a good size, air conditioned with hanging space and hangers. Beds were firm but in no way uncomfortable. The bathrooms we used weren't huge but were perfect for what we needed. A well equipped kitchen with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, coffee and additional condiments, herbs and spices. There is also filtered water in the kitchen as well as a family size fridge. The various outdoor seating spaces provided shade at different times of the day as well as different outlooks onto the cove. Gorgeous! The outdoor wood BBQ/oven was given a good workout and was a sensational way to experience some of the local fresh produce. There is a small garden out the back where we could help ourselves to the veggies and herbs. Excellent wifi despite the remote location. The water in the cove is crystal clear and swimming was a must every day. Beach towels were provided and I would suggest buying swimming shoes as it is a rocky beach with sea urchins. Our host Ivana was amazing! She met us right at the ferry, helped us organise car hire and even drove some of us to the house as we had too much luggage and could not all fit into our car. She helped us again when we were leaving and was available to us whenever we needed during our stay. Welcome beers and fruit were greatly appreciated. The house is in a beautiful secluded bay with no restaurants or stores so I would recommend hiring a car - although only 10 minutes from Hvar town part of the road is gravel so taxis will not travel down that part of the road. I could not recommend Stiniva Bay Villa more highly. It is a beautiful villa, located in an idyllic bay with a welcoming and delightful host.

My stay at Ivana's home was probably one of the best air bnb experiences I've had to date. Ivana is incredibly helpful and accommodating and her home is beautiful. Literally a 2m walk from a secluded beach (rocky so bring water shoes). The home also has a really cool wood burning brick oven that we used to BBQ. Overall a perfect stay in an idyllic location !

Ivana made us feel totally welcome and was very accommodating, offering us the opportunity to call her if we needed anything. This we felt was over and above what is normally offered by other hosts. The Villa is beautiful and very spacious. It is clean. there are several different terrraces which are delightful to sit out on at different parts of the day, depending whether you want sun / shade. The Villa is very well equipped. Beach towels were provided which was a real bonus and there was a really good stock of washing detergents. The bay itself is lovely. The 5 children has their 'best holiday ever' swimming and snorkelling in the clear blue seas (water shoes are needed as there are lots of sea urchins). Stivina Bay is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the sunshine and peaceful setting. We found hiring a car to be expensive, so we used taxi's as the Villa is only 10 minutes from Havr. This worked well. We will definitely be back to enjoy the bay and Villa again! We went out with family and there was ample for us all to do and the Villa was big enough to very comfortably live together.

Wow. Just extraordinary. This is a beautiful, beautiful location, and Ivana was an incredible host. If you want a bit of seclusion, but also to still be able to get into Hvar town in 10 mins, this is idyllic.

Ivana and Riccardo were incredibly welcoming and accommodating hosts, and the house is fantastic. We were a group of 10 - with 6 adults and 4 kids, and stayed for 5 nights. Ivanna met us in Hvar Town on our way in to make sure we found the house, and we had cold beer waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived. We requested a crib, so Ivanna made sure we had one from the first night. Even before our trip - Ivanna reached out to connect on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). She answered questions before we arrived, and we exchanged daily messages about whatever other information we asked for. Ivanna put us in touch with a sailboat rental agency we used for a day. On our last morning, Riccardo even brought us fresh bread to save us a trip into town. The house is just as the pictures show. It was clean and well kept - and seems to be getting regular upgrades / renovations. The only thing that surprised us was that the kitchen and one bedroom were separated from the other 4 bedrooms - so you had to go outside to get between them. This wasn't a big deal. Stiniva Bay is incredibly quiet - despite being just a 10 minute drive to Hvar Town. The old road between Stiniva and Stari Grad is beautiful, but a bit twisty, so we used it for daytime drives and used the new road when driving 31st night. We were very happy with our accommodations - and would definitely recommend the house to anyone considering it.

Our stay at Stiniva bay villa was simply wonderful! Ivana was the most charming and friendly host and she could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The location is simply paradise, with only one other villa being in use during our stay meant that we pretty much had the cove to ourselves. Perched on the side of the valley surrounded by grapevines and olive trees the villa enjoys stunning views which are made the most of with beautiful outdoor areas on all sides on the house. The villa is in a secluded valley which guarantees you peace and tranquility. The house itself is extremely well maintained and beautifully presented, and we had everything we needed for our stay, right down to the welcoming pack of cold beers in the fridge after our long journey. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to get away from it all, and have already recommended it to friends who are hoping to visit later in the year. In fact, I am already thinking of going back next year! My only word of advice, you will need a car, as whilst. It's only a 15 minute drive to Hvar, it is off the beaten track.
