We have Wi-Fi for general use but are not able to host gaming, thanks.

What a fantastic spot on the hill overlooking the green hills and the entire Byron Bay - a whole new perpective of Byron Bay. I loved staying in this gorgeous home, with a spacious room, comfortable bed and vistas from every window you look. As a bonus, you get to stay in a self sustained home, demonstrating you can live off the grid with minimum impact on environment and still have more than comfortable living. Sussane is a very caring and a welcoming host, everything is well thought through. Overall, the best AirBnB i stayed in!

Susanna welcomed us in the midst of a rain storm that had just come out of the blue (quite literally). She showed us through the main house - most considerate as we and our luggage would have been most soggy had we gone round to the studio entrance. She welcomed us and gave us the tour. The space is graciously proportioned, light and comfortable. The bedroom has one of the most spectacular views you could imagine. I videoed the sunrise (yes occasionally I get up THAT early - crazy right!?) Everything at this place is so well considered and lovingly provided. There was toasted and gluten free muesli, organic natural yoghurt and lovely milk in the fridge. Fresh plunger coffee... (Need I say more!) Susanna even shared some of her extra produce with us which was lovely. She also gave us a recommendation to go to the local Farmer's Market - which was fabulous :) David and I enjoyed this experience so very much and we are most thankful that Susanna has opened up to AirBnb. A wonderful experience all round - gratitude and blessings from the Rusk Family (Hamilton NZ)

Susanna, Grant and Grace are the most beautiful family and they live in a dream place. We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was just beyond perfect :) A very special thanks to Susanna for having organised all the baby gear for my little 11 months old ! Everything was there from the great coat to the baby food containers, baby towels, cutlery, highchair!! I really appreciated - this was so thoughtful of her. We hope we will come back again really soon. You can book with no hesitation! The bathtub with a view and the home made granola are worth it in themselves !!!

Mother, artist, healer, gardener.
5 things I can't live without? Fresh air;
clean, living water;
my family, friends & community;
fresh local produce full of vitality ( hence my garden, our farmers' markets & Organic Farm Share)
& Love
did I mention chocolate? 70% cocoa, fairtrade or raw handmade?
So, that's more than 5, I know.
My favourite travel destinations: already visited: Lord Howe Island, Bay of Islands NZ, San Francisco, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Marrakesh.
I'd love to visit: the Kimberley Australia, Milford Sound NZ, The Lake district UK, Prague, Bruges, Sardinia, France, Italy.
Just watched & loved "Hereafter".
I love diversity; biodiversity, diverse music, I'm into every cuisine, I love the nexus where cultural traditions, ancient wisdoms, science & mysticism are finding shared ground.
Prior to signing up with AirBnB, our family have been sharing our home for years, first we had a few travellers from Japan lodge with us, then we hosted english language students from Byron Bay's 2 english language schools. Since moving into our new home we have been Helpx homestay hosting a succession of travellers (similar to woofing). We enjoy the stimulation & connection that welcoming people into our home & sharing an exchange brings.
Grant & I have both travelled a lot in the past & will again, but for now staying put for a while is enriched by connections made with travelling folk, whether they are from the other side of the world or from up the road.
A life motto? 'Build it & they will come" comes to mind ; )
