Wonderful house! We book 2 identical houses right next to each other.

Very nice house and very helpful people. We enjoyed the marvelous beach very much. One should know however that the location is very remote, although not very far from Dar. This means very little diversity of food to buy locally, most of it has to come from the city. But host has been great in sending people buy our food, because it's a 2-hours drive from Dar. Cell phone and internet are ok is sky is clear and wind is down...

This is a lovely spot overlooking the Indian Ocean -- 350 m up a trail from the beach, and thus high enough to catch the cooler sea breezes. The house is rustic, roomy and came equipped with everything you need to have a great self-catered / cottage vacation in Tanzania. Plus there are guards and house staff available to help you sort things out. I really appreciate the effort that Egil and Louise and their staff have made to install solar water heating and micro turbines for the electricity, and to plant trees on the property. It was a great break from the hassle and heat of Dar es Salaam. The starlight is magnificent and the waves at high tide were epic for boogie boarding. Be sure to leave enough time to get there and back from town. And you may want to bring your own flashlights/torches for walking around after dark -- although the guards did kindly put out kerosene lanterns for us along the path.

Completly satisfied :) constant contact with owner who was willing to help long before arrival, beautiful place. Advice: do not take main road B2 as gps may suggest. The road seems to turn later for only monster truck fit. Take the ocean drive.
