Such a great place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Eddie is an absolutely fantastic host, even though he was in Brazil he phoned and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)d to welcome us and was regularly in touch to check everything was to our liking. We really appreciated the welcome pack, and especially the thoughtfulness in providing breakfast for the next day as we hadn't realised all the supermarkets would be closed with it being Sunday! We had a rental car and this made the location out of the town centre not a problem. Highest recommendation.

Eddie's house is exactly as depicted by the pictures. It is perfectly clean, spacious, and so close to the Avignon station you can pretty much walk there. This was great for us because after 14 hours of flight and 2.5 hrs of train, we did not want to drive very far to get to the house. It may not be clear from the picture but the pool is quite large and very deep. My dad totally enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday. The kitchen also looks exactly like the pictures and is beautiful with marble top counter and island. Because we arrived late on Sunday, the host asked us if we needed breakfast material and bought us bread, ham, eggs and cheese before we arrived. There was also brand new butter and juice in the fridge. Eddie's father and a translator (Melodie) was there waiting for us when we arrived (despite numerous changes to my travel plan due to delayed flights etc.). They took a good 20 mins explaining how everything worked in the house (Washer/dryer, oven, pool, locks, AC, security system etc.) You can tell that they take really good care of the house by the way they explained how the whole house worked. Whole house was pretty spotlessly clean (my mom is a clean freak and even she is perfectly happy with the house). What is great about this house is that the host thought of and provided everything you can possibly need: all sorts of kitchenware, washer detergent, dishwasher tablet, incense and sprays for mosquito, business cards for local restaurants, floating toys for the pool, charcoal for the outdoor grill etc. All these little details add up to a perfect stay for us. My favorite memory at Avignon was grocery shopping at Les Halles, and cooking up a great dinner in the beautiful kitchen, then sitting outside under the tree for the candle-lit dinner with the perfect breeze. We would love to stay there again!

Really beautyful house and garden. Lovely. Perfect for two families - 4 adults and 4 children. The house and garden is clean and kept very well. The landlord is very kind and helpfull. The house is situated in a non-charming area of Avignon. Dont left your choise affect of this. The house and garden is surrounded by a wall, so you have lot of privacy. You certainly need a car - it is NOT possible to get to anywhere by foot

We have been in Eddie's farmhouse for a bit more than two weeks, together with friends, and everybody was full of praise. Thus, we would in the first instance like to thank Eddie and his family for the hospitality we had the privilege to enjoy in Avignon. The farmhouse was built recently by Eddies father who converted a building in decay into a holiday residence of stunning beauty. The pictures on Airbnb fully reflect reality, save perhaps on one point. The pictures show the farmhouse is surrounded by walls. What you see from the inside the compound above the walls are groups of huge trees which give you a bit the impression of living in a magic forest. You don't get that feeling from looking at the pictures. The location near the station was ideal in our case, as some of our friends came and departed by TGV. It is also perfectly suited for making excursions in the region, by car or by train; shopping facilities and a fitness centre are less than five minutes away by car. The house is fully equipped and everything was in perfect order. While the night temperatures were sometimes low during our stay in September, an environmentally friendly heat pump kept the pool warm enough for an early morning swim. We were greeted at our arrival by Eddie (briefly back in France), his father Alexandre, their wives and a house full of beautiful flowers. During our stay, Alexandre took care of technical issues. All of them have the warmth and the accent of southern France and did all one could expect to help their guests to spend a good time in the region. Information on tourist activities and restaurants are amply provided which allowed us to enjoy some excellent meals at places we might otherwise have missed. We hope to be back at Eddies farm another year for two or three weeks and can recommend it, without reserves.

Beautiful house, ideal for a private experience for a family or group in a great part of France. Very tasteful decoration, house is brand new. Garden and pool are idyllic, including hammock and chirping of crickets during the day! Quiet surroundings yet very close to station. Immediate surroundings are not great though. Eddie's father was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended overall!

J'adore voyager.
