This beautiful 3-bedroom chalet is at the centre of the vibrant community of Wakefield - famous for its exceptional cultural life and its beautiful surroundings. Perfect for summer & winter activities during the day and great food and music at night
The perfect location!
Until recently this lovely building was the home of my own River Echo Language School where we hosted language travellers of all ages and from every corner of the globe.
This traditional home is within walking distance of all the great things Wakefield has to offer: fine boutiques, great eateries, exceptional live entertainment, galleries, and ... above all .. the great company of a very friendly community.

I am originally from Germany, but made my home in beautiful Wakefield, Quebec, a long time ago. I first came here in 1972 as part of my tour through North America: a friend back home had met some people from Wakefield at the Octoberfest in Munich and gave me their address.
It took just a 2-day visit in a very snowy January the rest is history, as they say.
I have been running a language school for both local folks and international language travellers since 1999 - the only school I ever liked.
My husband Fritz is an architectural designer.
We are widely travelled ourselves and enjoy meeting people wherever they may be from.
