Historic Overbrook is a neighborhood built in 1913 upon expansion of the trolley line that was extended into the area three years earlier. Bungalow homes were built in this area from 1913 to 1924. Overbrook was developed by the Woodside brothers, who had made their fortunes managing the Woodside Cotton Mill, at one point the largest textile plant in the World.

The trolley, called "The Toonerville Trolley", remained popular and continued despite the switch to bus transportation in 1928.

Its ZIP code is 29607.

The neighborhood is bordered by Pleasantburg Drive to the west, East North Street to the south, Stone Avenue to the east, and Laurens Road to the north. Interstate 385 runs through this neighborhood at Exits 40B and 42.

2.5 miles to the beautiful downtown Main Street, 1 mile to Bob Jones University, 7 miles to Furman University, and 2 miles to the Greenville Convention center. Local attractions include the Greenville Drive Stadium, Top Golf, the Peace Center, Bob Secours Wellness Arena, the Swamp Rabbit Trail and much more!

As two Greenville natives, my husband, Cory, and I are thrilled to host guests from around the world in our wonderful city! Like so many of our guests, Cory and I share a passion for travel, local cuisine, and being fully immersed in the culture of the places we visit. When you arrive to our home in Greenville, our goal is that you immediately feel the "Southern Hospitality" this little corner of the world is known for. We are head over heels for our two pups, Winston and Knox, and specifically love that our city is so dog-friendly! There are many fantastic ways to explore our city, however, we find it the most exciting with furbabies in tow. That being said, we hope that our home is a haven for you and your co-travelers (with paws or not). Whether you are here to conquer the 15.7 mile Swamp Rabbit Trail, discover local restaurants and breweries, or visit any one of the universities nearby, we have done it all and are here to give you a local's perspective on how to make the most of your stay! We hope that you find our city as charming as we do and that we can help make your visit exceptional!
