Unfortunately the problems with Inci started when she wanted to cancel her reservation close to her arrival date since she told me she had somewhere to stay for free. I explained to her since unfortunately close to her arrival I would end up loosing money because I wouldn’t get another reservation due to her short notice. She lied and said someone came into her room and planted a sweater, there was sounds of bottles breaking (?), guests were not the correct guests (?) and something about my neighborhood not being safe so she could try to get a refund. She’s upset because when I presented all the evidence to Airbnb, they ruled in my favor after presenting more than enough proof of her not telling the truth. I’m a very experienced and caring host of 7 years to over 650+ guests with 350+ POSITIVE reviews. If it’s true that my neighborhood is unsafe, my guests don’t love my home and feel don’t safe, my reviews would speak otherwise. That is far beyond the truth—all my guests say they loved my home, had awesome experiences and love my neighborhood and all the neighbors are kind and friendly. I feel Inci was grabbing at straws to discredit me. I take my job as a host VERY seriously and always go far beyond to make my guests feel comfortable, safe and have the best possible vacation. I am sorry however, things turned out the way they did. It disappoints me when experiences like this happen but unfortunately, this is the cost sometimes of opening up your home. Nonetheless, I wish you luck Inci. Take care.
