Beautifully renovated self-contained unit just a 5 minute walk to Lake Cooroibah accommodating up to three guests. Situated in a beautiful bush setting and only 18 minutes from Noosa Heads.
Experience beauty, serenity and the flora & fauna of QLD. We speak English, German, Spanish and a bit of French.
Guests receive a jar of honey from our own bees. The property has organic fruit trees and a veggie garden. It runs on solar and batteries. On our way to completely self-sustaining!
Our beautiful bush block is close to everything Noosa has to offer, but far enough away to relax and forget about your everyday worries. It is nested between the Cooloola National Park and Lake Cooroibah, just 7 minutes from Tewantin and 18 minutes from the bustle of Noosa Heads. Experience the bushland with it's wildlife and flora and enjoy the Cafes, Bars and Restaurants of Noosa.
We hope you will enjoy your stay in our holiday unit as much as we did when we lived in it before buying the property. The unit is attached to the main house, but separated by a wooden deck. It has it's own separate entrance and amenities. The main room has a comfortable queen size bed and when required it fits an additional single bed. A small writing desk, TV, DVD player, WiFi and 2 wardrobes for easy storage are all included.
The compact kitchenette with the sitting/dining area can sit up to 4 people and is equipped with a 2 hotplate stove, kettle, bar fridge and Microwave. It comes with everything you need including pots and pans,
Your private bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and some storage space for your toiletries.
The outside sitting area faces our 4 acre backyard with native bushland, a dam and direct access to Lake Cooroibah. It includes seating for 6, your gas BBQ and a brazier for the cooler days.
The holiday unit and it's amenities are your very own private space. The outside sitting area is only partly separated from our back lawn to give you a great view of the bushland backyard. We encourage our guests to explore the outside areas of our property and the surrounding National Park and lake shore to the fullest. There are only 2 small areas around the bee hives and a granny flat where we limit access. We will point those out to you when you arrive.
When we are available we are very happy to give you a guided tour of the organic veggie garden, bee hives and our stand alone solar system, too.
We are normally very flexible with our check-out times if we don't have new guests coming in immediately.
Interaction with guests
We aim to be available at the property for most of the time during our guests' stay. If we are not personally available we will always be contactable on the phone numbers on our guest information sheet.
The furnishings of the unit are kept to a practical minimum to give you as much space as possible. However, we have a lot equipment available to make your individual stay more convenient. Please don't hesitate to ask us for anything you need.
Other things to note
Being a semi rural property we are on tank water. All our water goes through several filter stages to make it safe to drink and we have also installed a special tap in the kitchenette that provides top quality drinking water. We recommend to use this water for all your cooking, too.
Like most rural properties we have a small dog. Woody is a very friendly, curious and free to roaming Jack Russell/Pomeranian mix. Please feel free to shush him away if he tries to come and visit you.
There is an open dam about 50m behind the unit. It's easy to get in and out, but please take extra care when traveling with small children.
