Exactly as advertised. Little tough to find, but that may have been the taxi drivers fault. Bigger address numbers on wall would help. House had all the necessities. I used the French press, a first for me. Very busy neighborhood on weekends. Not much street noise. If you can not negotiate steps and are prone to tripping on stairs, this is not the place for you. I slept well in the bedroom on the right, my friend on the left had a very firm bed. All in all a great value and I would stay again.

The apartment was spacious, clean and in a great location. It was an easy walk to Plaza Foch - full of restaurants and nightlife - but just far enough away for a quiet night's sleep. Perfect for our group of 4 adults.

Spacious apartment with a great location! Communication with Bernarda was great and Carmen was waiting outside the building when we arrived. The building was secure and although in the Mariscal, it was quite quiet at night. One of the quietest places I have stayed at in Quito. Super close to a SuperMaxi grocery store and Plaza Foch. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. I would definitely return next time I want to stay in Quito.

The space was perfect for our one night stay. It was easy to find and centrally located. We received a great information pack. The apartment is funky in a good way. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Carmen and Bernarda's place. It was a great value for the price. We were a group of five and we found the location perfect, the kitchen and living space extremely useful and the rooms comfortable. We only stayed three nights and I can see how it would be comfortable for a longer stay as all the necessary amenities are available (fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, private rooms and living space). There's not much natural light but the rest was perfect. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends.

The appartment of Carmen and Bernarda was lovely and had everything we needed, and even more (like a private bathroom for each room)! The area where it is located is right next to the center where you can find lots of bars and restaurants. Also, the supermarket is very close to this appartment. I would totally recommend this place for people who want to feel secure and enjoy the center of La Mariscal!
