The space

The Welcome Inn Suites have 2 seperate suites. At times we do offer weekday rates, please inquire for more details. This is our Sunrise Suite, which has a gorgeous view of Green Valley Lake from the living room. The Sunrise Suite is spacious, yet offers a cozy environment which is perfect for a mountain retreat. The large living room has a wood burning stove that is sure to warm you up on a brisk night. We also have a TV with cable and we offer wifi internet. It has two full bedrooms with queen size beds in each, and it has a pull out sofa in the living room. It has a full kitchen, with everything that you would need to prepare meals. The suite is everything you could ask for, and is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city.

Although Green Valley Lake is a small town, you will be able to find everything you need. There is a General Store that carries everything you could need. There are also a few restaurants in town and the Eagle's Nest Tavern. During the summer there is swimming, boating and fishing at the lake. You can also fish during the winter from the shore. Winter in Green Valley Lake is incredible! We are at the highest elevation in the San Bernardino Mountains, so we get a lot of snow! There are lots of areas in town for snow play and sledding, and we are very close to the ski resorts for those who enjoy skiing and/or snowboarding. The location of the Welcome Inn is perfect for all seasons. During the summer the lake is just across the street and during the winter accessing our Inn is really easy because we are the first road to get snowplowed. The Welcome Inn is the perfect place to relax and create memories!

The Welcome Inn Suites offer a small town vibe tucked away on a beautiful 8.5 acre lake at the top of the San Bernardino mountains, and is open for all seasons. A beautiful mountain retreat located above the new Green Valley Lake General Store at an elevation of 7,200 ft. They made me feel like family here! Great people that would give the shirt off their back. The band was amazing, the food even better. This was an adventure leaving me wanting to come back for more.

Great staff and stay! Very much like the pictures. Just a little creeped out by the secluded area and a broken chain lock on the door.

We came in around evening time and the hosts were very welcoming. There was a $32 tax that we had to pay upon our arrival for our weekend trip. The place was nice and cozy, and it was nice that there were plates and cups in the kitchen. We were a little disappointed that the DVD player didn't work because we rented a movie in the general store downstairs believing that the DVD player worked. If it's broken, it really should be taken out. However, there was cable TV so we still had something to watch. The place is located above a tavern but it closes around 10pm so there weren't any noise problems when it was bedtime. All in all, it was a great trip.

My second time here. Great for a one night stay in the mountains.

When I arrived 2 hours after the check-in time the room was not ready. The place was a bit dirty and it was obvious that they were not prepared for any guests. Later in the day we find that the bathroom didn't have any backup toilet paper roll and had to drive miles to find a gas station that was open to purchase more toilet paper. The staff was very friendly and they seemed like good people but I don't think the price was worth the experience of going through all that.

The condo is located above a bar so it got a little loud at night. The hosts where very nice and helpful. Overall it was a worth while experience.

Response from Welcome Inn:
We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The Tavern is open Friday and Saturday nights and normally closes around 10. There are a few nights that we stay open until 11 or so, but those are far and few between. We also try to maintain a low noise level to the best of our ability. Also, people are more than welcome to come downstairs and enjoy the ambiance the Tavern offers.

Everyone was so nice at the front desk. The place was great for 4 of us and the location was great to go to Arrowhead and Big Bear. The lake is such a gorgeous view and nice trail for a morning hike!!
