* One sleeping hut with double bed
* Bathroom in the main house up the hill
* Secluded campfire circle with chairs, table and firewood
* Kitchen hut with tiny dorm size refrigerator, table and chairs

Easy-camping, no tent needed. Just bring your food, cooking and hiking supplies. Trails in 180 acre state forest surrounding camp. We do not allow pets or smoking in the huts in order to keep the environment allergen free.

The space
Some call it "glamping," short for "glamour camping" because you don't have to set up your tent. Your hut has electricity (only one or two electrical items at a time please) and a locking door. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful with songs by the forest critters to lull you to sleep each night.

The huts are NOT heated. We are developing a "kitchen" hut, but only provides a dorm size refrigerator and a table and chairs thus far. It does, however, provide "in case of rain" options for your meal prep. Your private firepit circle has firewood for your use and a table and chairs. Since our first "review" last year, we closed down and entirely upgraded the hut and campsite. The photo with bed is accurate, as are the photos of the campfire circle. There is a barbecue grill for your convenience. Bring your own charcoal and lighter.

To prepare for your stay, it is best to think, "I'm going camping," not "I'm staying in a cabin or a motel." Bring, flashlights, gear, food, matches...you know...the stuff you would take if you were tenting, only you don't need the tent and a bathroom with shower is just up the hill in the main house.

Guest access
You will have access to a bathroom and shower in the main house up the hill, but no access to other parts of that house as it is a private residence. Your bathroom is locked off separately from the private quarters. Up to two guests from our other lodging space may also use the bathroom.

Other things to note
Three young children, ages 2, 6 and 9, live in the main house and may wander down to say hello. We like to keep the environment as wholesome as possible.

There are a few other houses on the road, but for the most part, you can't even see them from the campsite area. Sometimes a neighbor's dog will run through the yard or you might hear a hunter's gunshot in the distance during hunting season. Neighbors are friendly if you happen to see them.

I am an artist, author and minister of the Church of the Earth Nation. My favorite guests are people who deeply explore the journey of their soul and relationship to Mother Earth. I see creatively doing what you love as the path to bliss. I have led personal empowerment groups since 1976 and helped people design homes which nourish their soul. My space is small, simple and peaceful where "time out for contemplation" is the default mode. If you are looking for a break from "too busy-ness", this is the place for you.
