The barn was great. The wood burning stove was cozy and the place is very private in a little valley. Host was very easy to deal with and did not bother us at all. Perfect getaway in the Berkshires.

We enjoyed our time in Williamstown, the location was great. It was fun to stay in a converted sheep barn off of a windy gravel road. Very private with a great big porch for grilling and socializing. We were disappointed with the mildew smell that consumed the kitchen, first fl…

We loved the Sheep Barn! Booked in combination with the big house for our traveling work group. The common space in the barn is fantastic for hanging out and the property simply idyllic. Would be perfect for a friends getaway or small family trip.

The Sheep Barn is nestled in a spectacular setting. We felt a part of the beautiful Berkshires, with Mount Greylock looming nearby. The barn is large if a bit musty, open the windows when you arrive. It will be nicer when the planned windows are added to the living room, the barn…

Response from Thomas:
I know exactly what you mean. The humidity for the past few weeks has been awful. We usually leave the windows open, but it's just been too hot. But we did just have the carpet in the first room (where you come in) professionally cleaned the day after you left, which has made a big difference. It has gotten a lot of traffic this summer, and the humidity really didn't help. We're going to switch to wood flooring for that space, so we don't go through this again.
