The Distillers Cottage at the Vines Village is nestled on the edge of 4 acres of landscaped grounds that make up the Vines Village in Marlborough, New Zealand. Adjacent to the Roots Gin Shack and Elemental Distillers.

Design-led and attention to detail is what we are all about and we would love to share our amazing place in the world with you.

The space
Located adjacent to the newly opened Roots Gin Shack, you are surrounded by plenty of open space. The outdoor bathtub is a wonderful addition to enjoy after hours, with the grounds emptying by 8pm each evening.

The views across the grounds, the surrounding vineyards to the mountains make this space a truly unique place to stay and enjoy.

Guests receive a complimentary gin tasting at the Roots Gin Shack and there is also a complimentary bath bomb for your freshwater outdoor bathtub.

Guest access
Guests have full use of the 4 acre open spaces at the Vines Village, accessed through a private driveway and car parking. Sorry breakfast isn't included but a kitchenette is on site for use. Coffee & breakfast is available next door in the Vines Cafe from 8:30am 7 days. Delicious snacks and cocktails are also available next door at the Gin Shack, open from 11am to 6pm daily in the summer months and from 11am to 5pm Fridays & Saturdays from April to October.

Other things to note
The perfect central location to explore the neighbouring wineries with on-site bike hire (book direct with Explore Marlborough) .

Located 10 minutes from Blenheim township the Vines Village Bungalow is located within easy reach of 10 wineries and is central to the wine touring route known as the Golden Mile so wine tourism is easy and highly recommended.

Please check directly with wineries if they require bookings. Whitehaven Wines Cellar Door is on site so please book via their website. The Roots Gin Shack is right next door for Gin tastings, distillery tours and sales, distillery tours do require a booking but no booking is required for tastings and dining in.
