Situated in the Kawartha Lakes on peaceful Gull River only 90 mins from the city! Beautiful West facing waterfront property with over 135 ft of shoreline and walkout beach. Have your morning coffee on the dock or patio. The space consists of the entire main cottage with 3 bedrooms, 7 beds, and a full bath.
Equipped Kitchen, BBQ, Fishing, Dock, Fire Pit, Kayak, Canoe, and life jackets available. Public boat launch is available just down the river with great fishing available all summer long.
The cottage is our family getaway, our home away from home and we went you to enjoy it as much as we do!
The summer season offers great swimming, canoeing, fishing, camp fires by the water, or lying in the recliners counting the shooting stars. We are in a beautifully treed forest filled with chirping birds and chipmunks. We heat our home with a wood stove so you may wake up to a wood fire on those chilly mornings.
The road is excellent for walking or biking. Hike to the nearby waterfall or see the local sites and nature trails. Whitewater rafting and kayaking is nearby.

Other things to note
This is, as described, more of a rustic cottage. We don't want to lead you on in any way! It is mouse free, and of course there is running water but it is our work in progress that we wanted to share at an affordable price.
- 1.) No smoking. We do not smoke in our cottage and appreciate if you would follow suit. By paying this security deposit, you are agreeing with our rental rules and that you will not smoke in our cottage. You will lose your deposit if evidence of smoke is found once you check out.
2.) You and your guests are using our cottage at your own risk. We, the owners of the property, will not be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the cottage or for any lost or stolen items.
3.) Please be courteous to our neighbors with regards to noise. We all enjoy the late night campfire but our friends and neighbors on both sides have young kids that don’t need to hear excessive colourful language or noise after 10PM. If the OPP are called by neighbors complaining about noise being emitted from the cottage, the OPP will happily issue a “Notice of Offence” for $615. Also if noise complaints continue pursuant to the “Notice of Offence”, then as the Landlord I will request that you vacate the cottage and no refund will be made.
We like to keep it simple;
1) If you open it, close it
2) If you turn it on, turn it off
3)If unlock it, lock it
4) If you break it, fix it
5) If you can’t fix it, call someone who can
6) If you make a mess, clean it up
7) if you move it, put it back
