Guests will have their own separate entrance to this quiet and comfortable newly renovated apartment/studio in a historic double shotgun. This1890s home has been carefully designed to provide a very cozy stay. It includes the bedroom, equipped with a perfect to snug in queen-size mattress with luxury cotton linens, leisure seating, ample closet and storage space and large HD flat TV with access to all the media. The full bath with shower and all linens and plenty of toiletries supplied. A cook’s kitchen supplied with all basics and more, all new appliances (gas, for those serious cooks), with a work/ bar-dine-in and comfortable seats for 2. A laundry with full size washer and dryer in the backyard to be shared with the house and a lazy and gorgeous courtyard that offers seating shaded under the bamboos or the front porch for a relaxed moment before heading to the streets.

Guests will have their own separate entrance, the apartment is a complete unit with bedroom, kitchen with bar dine in, full bathroom and direct access to the backyard.
Interaction with guests
We are owners and managers of our property. We like to personally greet our visitors if possible. We are attentive to all of our guests needs and inquiries but understand that we are not part of the planned vacation. We are available (via text preferably) if needed.
Other things to note
Absolutely no smoking inside the apartment. If you do outside, the plants will appreciate the ashes but please dispose properly of the butts.
Smoking abatement charge of up to $500.00
This is primarily a residential area, and it is 24/7.
No boisterous or disorderly conduct will be tolerated.

Tenant(s) should not be boisterous or disorderly, create undue noise, disturbance or nuisance of any nature or kind, engage in any unlawful activities. If a violation occurs Tenant may be declared in default by Landlord and Landlord will demand the rent for the whole unexpired term of the lease which shall at once become due and payable and obtain possession of the premises and may elect any other remedy allowed by law.
Greetings! We are Matilde and Gustavo, both visual artists. We live in New Orleans, came for an exhibit of Gustavo and barely few hours later fell irrevocably in love with the city.
Gustavo is a well-known artist and regularly shows abroad and other cities of the United States. That is one of the reasons we travel often.
We are foodies, love to enjoy the local experiences and to stroll while discovering the city's social and architectural treasures.
We offer our guest house for short term rentals so we understand what means to be a wonderful guest and recognize the efforts of being a good host.
