Very basic accomodation, expect a bed and shared bathrooms - school camp style. Would be totally fine in the warmer months or if prepped with enough warm clothes for the colder nights. We weren't packed with enough warm clothes on a super cold night so we didn't stay at the property for the night of our booking - checked into a hostel in town to get warm.

Response from Sam:
Our rooms are quite warm once you put the heater on. Our lounge has a reverse cycle heater for the daytime and a very large wood combustion fire at night. This guest would not know this as they did not even stay!

Sam's place is this beautiful old monastery. The location is great, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to small towns such as Lorne and Apollo bay. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms just ideal and the common room super cozy. The hosts are extremely friendly and are a great source of information.

Sun. Cows. A beautiful open kitchen. Home cooked meals and sun kissed scenes of the waves crashing against the coastline. We had an incredible stay in a gorgeous room that overlooked the ocean, a king size bed that literally melted away all signs of tiredness. Amazing! Great value xxx

Great place to stop over during the Great Ocean Road journey. Room and bathroom were simple but all you need. The shared area is amazing! Best kitchen and great area full of games and a nice fire.
