Well Josh we certainly enjoyed our stay and if you just update the silverware and dishes and fix a few items, it would be fine. But Josh, thanks again for being very kind to send folks to take care of the items we asked for. We really enjoyed our visit there and your hospitality.

1. The cabin was dusty and had a dank, musty smell. I was sick most of sunday as a result (I suffer from allergies) 2. The bedspreads were old and smelled musty 3. the place in general was old, outdated, no personal touches, many things needed to be replaced (showerheads, kitchen lights, broken vents, no darts for the dartboard, microwave handle was duct taped, the pool sticks were broken and taped together, etc) 4. there were yellow jackets in the house! Our daughter was stung in the foot by one when she entered the bathroom. and the family in the downstairs left bedroom woke up to yellow jackets flying over their heads. 5. the porch had bat droppings - a ton of them. and there were dead bugs and cobwebs throughout the house 6. there were no pots and pans to cook with 7. The grill outside isn't big enough for a party of 10 and yet the cabin boasts of housing that many. It seems you the grill chosen would accommodate. 8. the fireplace was turned off and it was 40 degrees. 9. If you're looking for a view of the mountain, you won't get one here. there is no yard, no sitting on the porch enjoying the mountain view.

Josh was amazing with communication! I had many questions and he was very prompt and polite with the replies. All of the directions provided were clear and easy to follow. The cabin was clean and provided everything we needed. Such a positive experience the brought so much joy to my family!

my group of friends and I had a lot of fun. it was 7 including myself and it was the perfect size. the hot tub was a plus and the seating in the kitchen was just right for everyone, except for the light fixture right out side the bathroom on the main floor it is not a good placement for tall people. some of us hit it multiple times.

A group of 10 of us came to enjoy the area for a weekend getaway! This cabin was in a great gated community, while being close to Gatlinburg and other things to do! It would be hard to fit more than 10 people in the living areas (sleeping would be comfortable). If you plan on doing a lot of cooking, I would recommend bringing along some extra plates and cups.

The check-in /out was very easy. Cabin was neat and clean. Some of the items were older but a very good value. Location is excellent, easy to get to with good roads. If you know the back roads, it is very close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The location is secure and relatively private. I would definitely come back. Host provided a great supply of towels and linens. Thanks for a great holiday weekend.

Communicating with Josh was easy. The Cabin was conveniently located closer to Downtown Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and to the Smokey Mountain National Park visitor centers. This is a conventional cabin with all the basic amenities. The living space in the cabin is definitely lesser than the pictures depict. We were a group of 8 adults + kids, all under 8 yrs. The size and layout of the cabin is fine for a group of 10 to crash after a hectic day of outside activities. If you have kids and toddlers who want to walk, run around and if you plan to have a game time/family activity with the entire group, the space feels restricted. The living area can seat 6 people at the most. Cabin and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had basic pots, pans, cutleries and coffeemaker. Utensils upgrade would help. The bottom beam of the microwave door was broken and almost ready to fall off. It was stuck together using a black tape that was coming off. Over all, a decent cabin for a smaller group of grown ups, with limited number of kids. When compared to the serene locations, space and amenities of previous cabins that we have enjoyed in the Smokey this was slightly overpriced. This was our first experience with Airbnb. We love Airbnb’s concept of new age traveling, sharing, opening up ones’ space to respectful-responsible travelers across the globe. Indeed, the world is opening up to wayfarers in a very cordial, conscious and interesting manner. Way to Go!!

One of my favorite destinations is the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. The Appalachian Trail is an awesome way to see it, but I love to travel by car so I can be more spontaneous, stopping at colorful roadside attractions, or discover an amazing natural site, maybe a hidden waterfall or wildlife.
