The space

This is a very large studio flat (approx. 35 sq meters) in a very convenient location right next to Harringay overground train station. Be in Central London in only 15 minutes!

It has a large studio room with double futon bed, and extra single futon bed; separate fully equipped Kitchen/Breakfast room and a lovely natural stone bathroom.

Available to let both short and long-term.

Any questions, just ask.

Guest access

The entire flat is for your sole use for the duration of your stay.

Interaction with guests

We will meet you at the flat to give you the keys and show you around. After that we will leave you to enjoy your time there but will always be contactable in case you need to.

Other things to note

Please note that the flat is situated in a building next to the railway line so you do hear the trains passing by. Its not so bad, I personally love it (yes, really!), but it may not suit someone who is very sensitive to noise.

Furthermore, please note that the communal staircase is due to be refurbished later in the summer so it is a bit tatty at the moment. This is reflected in the price and the flat itself is perfectly clean and nice inside!

Great flat, very luminous with all the necessary. Kitchen is very fonctional and bathroom really agreeable. Little Supermarket at the front door. Helen and Koksal are very kind and will answer quickly to your questions, always with smile, benevolence and goodwill. Very easy to go to center city with trainstation next door. Perfect for short or long stay.

We had a lovely stay at Helen's place. Helen's been extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The location was very close to transport. The apartment was comfortable and homely. The internet connection was excellent. We didn't find the train sound disturbing at all. It was within walking distance to local shops including a big Sainsbury. Highly recommended.

This family is a great host and have a very nice home. It was warm, modern and equipped with everything you need for a long stay. Very nice location and region. it was pleasant for me to have a walk around. Yes, it's some noise from the railroad during the day time and it means if you want to rest during the day (sleep) it will be a problem. Otherwise at night it's enough quiet. I strongly recommend this house and hosts for your long stay in London.

Helen was a really lovely host. She was very quick at responding to my emails before arriving, made sure to meet us at the flat with her husband and they both showed us how everything worked, plus she was in contact to make sure everything was ok throughout our stay. We stayed for 1 month and there were both positives and negatives. Positives: 1) this is a very large studio and more like a one bed flat. Loads of storage and plenty of room. 2) Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Helen was kind enough to leave us some cupboard staples such as herbs, oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea. She also got us some fresh milk for when we arrived which was very kind. 3) excellent shower and there is always hot water and the heating is very easy to use too. 4) Virgin tv and wifi was excellent. 5) Helen was very kind and left us spare towels and bed sheets. 6) excellent transport links. It is right next to Harringay station and only a short walk away to the overground at Green Lanes, the piccadilly line at Manor House and the Victoria Line at Finsbury Park. On green Lanes there are also excellent bus routes expecially the 141 to London Bridge. 7) excellent shops and massive supermarket just down at Green Lanes a 10 min walk away from the studio. Negatives: 1) the communal entrance and hallway is a bit run down and could do with some attention. The entrance gate is broken and isnt very secure. 2) It is next to a train line and although we had earplugs we were still able to hear the trains. I know this is mentioned in the ad by Helen but it was quite loud and the trains do run quite regularly throughout the day. You do get kind of used to it after a while but it may be worthwhile bringing some earplugs with you just in case.

We had the most fantastic stay in Helen and Koksal's lovely flat. We were greeted on our first day by them to welcome us and hand over keys, they had very kindly left us some items we may need night one like milk and juice, which was incredibly thoughtful, and from that moment on, should we have needed anything at all, they were always available to us either by email or phone. The location couldn't have been better, and having a 2 year old daughter, being somewhere so quiet, safe and incredibly child friendly we really couldn't have been happier. The flat is 5 minutes walk or the local hop on hop off bus, from Finsbury Park, and what's more, the family friendly section which is amazing, with a boating lake, cafe where children eat free two days a week and fabulous playgrounds. A huge Sainsbury's is a short walk away, as well as the aforementioned hopper bus which drops you off 50 feet from the flat, and the train links are also brilliant, in all we just cannot speak highly enough of our time there. The thing we loved the most was the community feel in the area, everybody are so friendly, stopping and having a chat while waiting for the bus etc. I could go on and on about how much we loved it, but will stop myself rambling too much, but to summarise, we could not recommend this play high enough, it was just absolutely great and a huge thank you to Helen and Koksal for having us, I am sure we will see you again

We are a husband and wife team and own a small number of flats in very nice parts of London. We manage them ourselves and have high standards, particularly in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
