With 4 en-suite double rooms and excellent food. We offer the highest quality for walkers on the Lycian Way and anyone else who wants a holiday on the coast of Turkey. Away from the crowds but only 15 minutes from the coastal town of Kalkan, Antalya.

The space

Mooonstone House is in Saribelen only 15 minutes drive from Kalkan, but high in the hills so you enjoy refreshing breezes as well as the warm South West Turkish climate. With outstanding views more than 100km out to sea and up into the mountains. Plus very good home cooked food from locally sourced ingredients.

Guest access

All rooms are air conditioned and have en-suite shower rooms. There is free WiFi in the house and a beautiful pool for you to enjoy.

Interaction with guests

We run Moonstone House as a small guest house and are always there to help guests any way we can. We are always happy to provide transport to local destinations provided we haven't got conflicting commitments.
We usually sit down to eat with guests in the evening.

Other things to note

During Spring and Autumn a lot of our guests are walkers on the Lycian Way, the long distance path which runs from Fethiye to Antalya.
We are keen walkers ourselves and are happy to show guests many good local day walks, and to take people to the start or from the finish of other local walks.

We always say to guests to treat the place like home... and have found most of our guests like this informality and the comfort this provides.
We don't mind people smoking outside on the terraces but ask guests not to smoke in the house.
We have dogs and cats ourselves (which are never allowed into guest rooms) They are however completely safe and do not bite, and so guests must check with us before bringing pets.

If you are looking for serene surroundings then this is the place to be. Charming and beautiful villa with great views up the hillside where it is located. The hosts were very helpful and above all great to have a conversation with. The room is comfortable, specious, quiet and very clean. Breakfast is delicious; you really shouldn't skip that threat. The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this place in the midst of nature. Although a bit remote from the seaside it is worth the trip.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Tim and Judy. They were very welcoming and made great dinner every evening! The house is situated int he mountains and has a great view over the mountains and the sea with a beautiful pool. Because we love animals we had a great time with all the cats an dogs. Only a few are in the house and the rest is around the house. So not a problem at all. You should visit their place and enjoy one of their lovely meals!

We had a great time at Tim's and Judith's guesthouse. Good place to relax and walk the lycian pathway. Their breakfast is delicious. To stay here, you have to like their nice cats and dogs.

My husband and I had a great visit with Tim and Judy. They were very gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was SO comfortable; nice bed and AC. The pool was lovely with a beautiful view. The breakfast was beyond our expectations - an entire table spread with fruits, nuts, and homemade jam (delicious!), bread, eggs, coffee... a wonderful way to start the day. The listing mentions cats and dogs, and there are quite a few of both, but the dogs stayed outside and the cats stayed out of our room and were well behaved. We are both allergic to cats but had no problems at all. Overall, we had a great visit, and would definitely recommend staying here.
