Stunning views in a peaceful rural setting. Our home is set on just over 3 acres.

Lots of Birdlife which includes wild pheasants, turkeys, Tui in song, Rosella parrots and Wild Pigeon, and a whole lot more. Oh, and of course, our namesake "The Kingfisher."

There are horses in the paddocks adjacent to our property, and usually, over the summer months, you'll see a foal or two.

Denis and I moved to the Bay of Islands back in 2013 after visiting the area for the previous five years. We'd tow our caravan from Nelson, where we lived for 16 years through to Northland, and not want to leave. We fell in love with its natural beauty. Denis is originally from Christchurch, and I am originally from the island of Bermuda. We have both traveled extensively throughout New Zealand and around the world. Our interests include traveling, fishing, gardening, golf, theatre, and much much more. Although I mention that I speak Portuguese, it is fragmented, but I do understand most of what is spoken. LOL!!!
