Relax at Sybil's Place, a classic kiwi bach perfect for family or friends getaways. Whitianga town centre for shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, Wharf, Ferry, Boat Ramp and The Lost Spring thermal pools are all just a 5 minute walk away - forget the car and have more time to enjoy paradise!
Plenty of space for boat parking. Generous garden area. Walk to the beach in less than minute!
The space
Sybil’s Place is a classic Kiwi beach house, set up for families, friends and keen boaties who want to enjoy Whitianga. If you're looking for spacious accommodation with the beach and town at your doorstep, Sybil's is for you!
Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, lounge with TV, stereo, and free wifi. For the cooler months, we have a heat pump and room heaters. The property is spacious and fully fenced, making it safe for children and great for setting up a game of backyard cricket. Hot outdoor shower perfect for sandy kids and divers. Ample space for boat parking, fish cleaning bench and optional bait freezer if needed. Washing machine in the shed.
BBQ available (please clean after use) and outdoor furniture to enjoy those sunny days and long summer nights.
Help yourself to mandarins and lemons when in season.
Sybil’s Place offers a flexible layout that works for groups from two to ten people. Upstairs: main two-bedroom home (sleeps up to 6) Downstairs: a fully self-contained two-bedroom flat (sleeps up to 4).
For smaller groups, this layout offers incredible value - enjoy total privacy and use of the entire property and garden. For larger groups it allows space for everyone to come together to socialise, while having separate spaces to retreat to at night.
No matter your group size, you will always have sole occupancy of the entire property. The house is kept clean and tidy by professional cleaners. Fresh linen, bath towels and beach towels provided.
For Xmas - New Year Peak period, please call me or ask a question online, we are looking for responsible family groups.

For larger groups, we also have another property The Publican's (sleeps 10) which is next door. Rent both.
Four Square for groceries, and Hula Cafe are adjacent to the property in the main street. Easy walking distance to all amenities.
Enjoy Buffalo Beach, the estuary, Ferry Landing, Front Beach and all Whitianga has to offer without getting in your car. This is a little paradise to relax and enjoy.
Take a day trip to the highlights of Cathedral Cove, Hahei and Hot Water Beach to the south. For relaxation visit the other stunning east coast beaches to the north, Opito Bay, Otama Bay, Kuaotunu, Rings Beach, Matarangi, Whangapoua and New Chum Beach. Or adventure west to Coromandel and on to the northern tip of the peninsula with its fabulously isolated Fantail Bay, Port Jackson, Fletchers Bay, Stoney Bay, Sandy Bay, Port Charles, Waikawau Bay, Little Bay and Tuteawa.

The entire property is yours to use and enjoy. This includes fenced lawn and garden areas, a garage/laundry, outdoor hot shower, fish cleaning bench, barbeque etc. Keys are in a lock box.
Other things to note
Your bed and bathing linen needs are provided. In the interests of bed hygiene, please, no sleeping bags or soiled luggage on our beds.
There are two fully equipped kitchens with basic stocks such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, dish wash liquid, dish washer powder, kitchen sponges and scourers etc.
We also provide cleaning products, washing machine powder, toilet paper and hand wash.
You need to bring your own toiletries, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc.
Also, please bring your own beach towels or let us know if you need us to provide them for you.

Sybil's Place is in a quiet friendly neighbourhood between Buffalo Beach (100m) and the town centre (200m). The address is 13 Eyre St, this is one street over and parallel with the main street, Albert Street.
The grounds around the house fenced and save for children.
There is a hot outdoor shower for cleaning sandy kids and divers before going inside, plus a fish cleaning bench with running water.
There is a spacious garage that you can use if you require, this also contains the washing machine, chest freezer, barbeque and outdoor furniture.
Please, no smoking inside the house, a penalty will be applied. But smoking outside is okay but please do not litter our property with your butts. Dispose of them responsibly.
