Karen's house is conveniently situated close to Camden, Rockland and Rockport. The house itself is very nice with a great deck for bright sun in the morning and a screen porch to watch the sun set. The property is amazing and Karen has fruit and vegetables that she generously makes available. We really love this place.

We had an excellent vacation. Karen's home is comfortable, nicely appointed and a wonderful place to relax. The host's notes about local places to visit and eat were helpful.

This is a beautiful and immaculately maintained house within a few minutes walk of Lincolnville Beach yet secluded in the middle of woodland. We couldn't have asked for more at the house, and the area offers a lot- close to sea as well as lakes, mountain trails etc. Karen kept in good contact with directions and offers of assistance.

Thanks for the great review, Chris. I suppose the kitchen lighting could be better. Those particular lightbulbs do not put out a lot of light but I like them and have gotten use to them. I like the ferry as a way to get a view of the land and I suppose if you got off and waited for another ferry it might not work out so well. I will take that off the list. Thanks for your feedback. I hope you enjoyed Montreal and McGill. We went up there with our son when he was looking at schools. It is beautiful.

Tom and I had a great time at Karen's house. Everything was perfect and similar to how we had left off last year.

Karen made us feel welcome by visiting to make sure we were settled in, leaving beautiful flowers throughout the house and sharing lists of fun things to do in the area. My only 'complaint' about the listing was that it didn't nearly do justice to the lovely home and gorgeous gardens. And talking about a "neighborhood" seems odd, as you couldn't see a neighbor in any direction (although I am sure some were there, the grounds are so spacious that it wouldn't matter!)

Karen was a wonderful host, meeting me upon my arrival, providing careful and detailed instructions about the house and the area. The house is beautifully situated in Lincolnville a short distance from the beach. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. The deck is amazing with bright morning sun and the screened porch is a great place for viewing the sunset. We really liked Lincolnville as it is equidistant between Camden and Belfast. Whether eating at some of the best restaurants in the area (Primo, Francines, Suzuki or preparing our meals (lobsters, steamers from a friend of Karen's minutes away) we were absolutely satisfied with our vacation. I absolutely recommend this house without reservation.

I live in a small coastal town in Maine. I love to travel, garden, hike, swim, and XC-ski. I have close family and friends and enjoy them all. I have recently sold my catering business of thirty years and look forward to more travel and adventures.
