Quinta dos Cochichos consists of 3 self-catering farmhouse cottages:
We offer a comfortable accommodation in natural and peaceful surroundings, framed by a big diversity of fruit and exotic trees spread over 1,5 hectares of land. You will feel in perfect community with nature while you walk, watch the starry nights or relax at the pool. It is a perfect place to enjoy the simplicity of nature, together with family or friends. If you wish, you can pick up your own fruit and vegetables, directly from our garden.
Each apartment, or house (Portuguese “casa”), is named after a typical fruit from Algarve. We have Casa do Figo, Casa da Alfarroba and Casa da Nespera.
Should you prefer the city atmosphere, we have a little house called Casa do Limão, situated in the historical area of Olhão, only a 100mts from the sea.
All houses are self catered and well equipped so that you can take your breakfast and prepare other meals if you wish so.
Casa da Alfarroba:
A double room cottage with 62 m2, is part of a 2 floor rural house, on the first floor. It has 1 bathroom and an open kitchen next to the living room. This cottage accommodates 5 adults and 2 children. Casa da Alfarroba has its own terrace (9 m2), facing north, offering a cool shadow for confortable meals outside during the warmest days. This house is placed in a central area, giving you an impressive view over the fields.

Moved back to Portugal after 25 years abroad, as I wished to change life style, from a very stressy working environment to a "close to nature" life style. Worked in the banking sector during the last decade and now learning how to get "green fingers" with my husbands help. Marc is from Belgium and is now living his dream trying to develop different types of fruit and vegetables.
We own 2 cats and a baby dog and some chicken.
Welcome to Cochichos Farm!
