Guests will enter the home through the front door using an electronic keypad. Each guest receives a private code to enter the property.

The code changes when one guest checks out and a new code is provided for the next guest.

For the guest's safety as well as the owners' safety, the home is equipped with an outdoor surveillance system. The home owner is automatically notified (via the internet) whenever a guest enters or exits the home.

Will, the home owner, is usually around on weekends and evenings. He works in the city Monday through Friday. Will is usually available in person, by phone or via text for questions regarding the city, directions, the Bay Area in general, restaurant or entertainment recommendations, places to go, or anything else you may need.

Will's brother, Carlos, is a home most of the time. It should be noted that Carlos is slightly autistic; however, he functions at a high level. Carlos will not be interacting with guests much at all but he is available if guests have questions regarding the home or taking public transit around the city.

For guests who speak Spanish as their primary form of communication, Will and Carlos speak it semi-fluently but are not as proficient in written form.

We are centrally situated in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood with close access to a variety of areas you might want to visit want in SF. Within minutes by foot or by mass transit, there are many great spots with amazing food, such as: Glen Park, Ocean Avenue, Noe Valley, West Portal, and the Mission.

Within a few blocks of our home there is nearby access to three forms of public transit to downtown or SFO airport (via the Mission Street MUNI Bus System, the San Jose Avenue MUNI Light Rail System, and the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) System.

If you have a car, there is parking in front of my home.

House Rules & Special Instructions:

1. No smoking inside the house.

2. The garbage is disposed of into three types of bins located in the kitchen:

- one labeled “recycled”

- one labeled “composting”

- one labeled “trash”

3. To use the washer and dryer ask Will or Carlos. They are located down in the garage, adjacent to the room leading to the backyard.

4. We will wash any dishes that you use to eat meals. You can put dishes on in the kitchen sink.

5. No loud parties and please keep noise down after 10 p.m.

6. For heat purposes, the bedroom and the office/TV room are each equipped with an oil-
filled heater.

7. The house manual includes

- Phone numbers for Will and Carlos (feel free to text Will with questions)

- WiFi router Sign-In and Password

8. For visits longer than 3 days, we also can have your sheets changed and your rooms vacuumed.

9. Parking. While street parking is a bit challenging at times, you will not have a problem parking in front of the house. There is street cleaning twice a week.

Street parking on our side of the block is prohibited Monday mornings (from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) and Wednesday mornings (from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) across the street. When needed, we can rotate your car with our car in our driveway.

10. No illegal drugs or medical marijuana allowed on the property.

11. Unless agreed otherwise, check out time is 10:00 am. We are usually very flexible and there is no fee for late check out; however, if we have a back to back booking, it is important that you leave by 10:00 a.m. so the house cleaner can clean.

Otherwise be open to her to begin cleaning by 10:00 a.m. … sometimes earlier if need be.

12. Please turn the lights off when you are not using them.

13. Please feel free to text Will if you have questions on what to do locally.

14. Acquaintances not registered as guests are not allowed.

Reception was warm. I just needed a place to crash during a conference and it was a good place for this. My first time doing a shared room in a house. It was a new experience and perfectly fine for this occasion. I had everything I needed and was a happy camper.

The room is very confortable as there is a bedroom and an office. I traveled with my best friend and each of us had our own bed and "bedroom". The house is very nice and clean. Will and his brother are really friendly and alway made sure we had a nice stay. I recommend staying at Will's house.

Will is a wonderful and friendly host. I visited SF with my brother and sister. We appreciated the small details, like the constantly refilled snack basket and Keurig Coffee machine. He gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. A clean, tasteful and quiet place to stay, located midway between the airport and downtown SF.

* scuba diving in Cabo San Lucas as well as Cozumel

I have a nice, cozy home in the Mission Terrace District in San Facnsico. I should add that I take care of my younger brother. Thus, my guests will have to be mature and not generally loud people.
