##House in quiet street, but walkable to Shibuya and Harajuku Station##
I live in a 2 story house with my wife and a small dog. We provide a private bedroom in 1st floor for guests. Me, my wife and dog stay/sleep in 2nd floor (shared living room) with foldable futon. You are free to use living room anytime except when we sleep :)
This is located in a nicely quiet area (many embassies are around) but close to the central town of Shibuya and Harajuku.
Often our guest says they are happy with staying at our place because they like nice and quiet area for resting.
##About your hosts##
My name is Ryoma Machida, 27 years old entrepreneur who studied marketing in AUT University in New Zealand for 4 years. I'm CEO of zens.tokyo - an Airbnb host support & renovation company.
My wife, Minako is 28 years old who studied Tourism in some University in York State. And she is online article writer and also Japanese homemade cooking teacher (she provides the service at our house on weekends).
We both works in the internet marketing field, and love to meet people from the around world. We sometime cook meals for our guest to share the culture or go for walks with Louise to the park nearby.
Please see the reviews to find about what previous guests said about us, the room and location.
Our dog is a small dachshund. He is very friendly, clean (we clean him in the bathroom almost every week), never bites people, never barks except when someone opens the main door.
So most people will have no problem with him. He can actually make people happy :)
##Comfortable and Clean Bedding##
You have your own private bedroom with a double sized, quality mattress (France Bed).
The mattress size is 140 cm × 195 cm
(55 in × 77 in). This is perfect for up to 2 adults.
The extra 2 single futon mattresses can be provided if the group contains 3 guests.
But 2 futons in the room make the room really small, although you can use one of the closet in the room.
Me, Minako and a dog always sleep in the shared living room (2nd floor) using futon mattress and we will keep the noise level low in the morning and night. So you have a good privacy and a good rest.
We clean the floor often and sometime clean your bedroom while you stay depends on your length of stay.
We try to maintain a comfortable and clean environment for everyone.
24hrs convenience store (Seven-Eleven), post offices, ATM machines are right in the neighborhood. Very famous bakery, dozens of nice coffee shops / premium chocolate store / cool restaurants / small shops, a grocery store (one of the biggest in Shibuya) are accessible in 5-10min walk.
The popular tourist areas of Shibuya and Harajuku (Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park is in here), Shimokitazawa, Daikanyama, Meguro are within a 15min - 20min walk.
We can recommend places to visit, some great ramen shops, nice bars/restaurants/cafe/clubs, awesome parks/temples/shrines/hot spring etc.
So please don't hesitate to ask us about anything about Tokyo. We've been Tokyo more than 4 years:)
We will supply you with clean bedding, towels, toiletries, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, in house fast Wi-Fi, mobile Wi-Fi (you can use outside!), washing machine, cloth dryer, full kitchen, fridge, large bathroom with bathtub.
Interaction with guests
##Interaction with Guests##
If we have a time we can go for a walk with a dog. For example, we can go to famous Yoyogi Park which is about 15 min walk from our home.
We also love to have a meal together and talk about your culture and share our culture if we have a chance.
Other things to note
+++++++++++++++ Children +++++++++++++++
We count children over 3 as regular guests, but children up to 3 can stay for free. Please let us know how many people would be arriving though :)
Please send us message what time you want to check-in so we can be prepared.
If we cannot meet you in person we'll leave the key in the lockbox which you can find at the window frame right side of our main door. Code to open it will be sent to you after booking is confirmed.
You can always drop your bags off early if you ask us in advance. Late check-in is always available but again let us know arrival time in advance.
10am. You can not leave your bags in the room and come back later for them because there will be another guest for the date. But if you really want, please ask us in advance.
You can always use a coin locker in the station (most major stations have it).
Our calendar in this page is basically always up to date no matter what this website says.
For your convenience, there is no need to ask us if it is available.
Also, last-minute bookings are usually no problem. Typically, the first paid reservation will get the room.
A short introduction of yourself is always nice.
Please read all the information available here & message sent from Airbnb or us before you come to our place.
Especially room rates are better to check on Airbnb web site than asking us, because the rates fluctuate according to currency exchange rates.
Airbnb automatically takes care of the calculation.
We'd love to help you to enjoy your stay in Tokyo very much.
See you soon!
Ryoma and Minako

Thanks for checking out my page! My name is Ryoma. I'm CEO of zens - Airbnb Host Support and Renovation Company based in Tokyo.
In spare time, I usually take my dog for walk or go for hot spring. My favorite spot in Tokyo is Yoyogi Park and Mejijingu Shrine near Harajuku Station.
I started hosting some friends from overseas outside Airbnb July 2013 and all of them gave us a good feedback so I decided to start Airbnb hosting in Jan 2014 as an experiment.
At first I hosted French cinema director as the first guest. She was so nice and I wanted to host more Airbnb guests to learn new things and meet interesting people from the world.
Then I recommended my friends to start Airbnb as host but none of them started as they were not confident about their English communication skill and having stranger from the world.
This made me decide to start Airbnb host support service with my friends who can build furnitures, architect Airbnb friendly apartment / house.
We made first conceptual Airbnb listing called Tokyo Art Room with custom made furniture to showcase local artist's work an organized meetup with Airbnb guest and local people.
Thanks again for looking. If you need help for anything you are not even intending to stay here, feel free to send us a message.
We love to help other people because that makes us happier :)
