Located in a quiet neighborhood of Jaffa, this comfortable house has a big quaint balcony full of natural light and a sunny outdoor garden. We're certain you'll feel like you're in a kibbutz guesthouse instead of the heart of Jaffa.

We're located off a bunch of main bus lines, and about a 12-15 min. walk from the Wolfson train station.

Something to please keep in mind: We are parents to a lovely toddler and 2 wonderful doggies.

The space

A spacious yet cozy 88 square meter house with a large living room, a sunny balcony and a great garden. Located in the heart of Jaffa, you're just a few minutes away from the flea market, the beach and the old city. With plenty of bus lines around the corner and lots of free parking, transportation will be super easy.

Guest access

From Ben Gurion airport:
The best and cheapest way would be to take the train to Tel- Aviv and get off at HA'HAGANA station (it takes about 20 minutes). From the train station you can take a taxi to our home - it's about a 15-20 minute ride.

Interaction with guests

Feel free to communicate for any suggestions or recommendations you may need to make your stay with us more fun and enjoyable.

Other things to note

As noted above, we are parents to a great kid and a couple of wonderful doggies. We also work full time. Meaning, the house may not always be as organized as we'd like. We've taken this into consideration when we priced the room. What you can count on is for your room to be clean as a whistle, with fresh sheets and towels, a clean bathroom and shower, and hosts that will always be there to help you find your way or just sit for a cup of tea.

Efrat and Josh were incredibly warm, welcoming hosts. They were relaxed and generous with their time and made excellent suggestions of places to visit, where to eat, and beautiful routes to walk to the city. The bedroom is very comfortable (the bed is great), and there is good water pressure in the shower! There is a nice little garden area outside, too. The WiFi is reliable, you can walk to the sea in about 15 minutes, and can get to Sderot Yerushalayim in under 10 minutes. I'd definitely stay here again! Their two puppy dogs and adorable daughter make it really feel like you are at home no matter where you've come from.

I spent good time in this house with nice friendly helpful family. I liked my "kids" room with funny pictures on the walls. The are a lot of medicine plants in their garden. l burned the sun and Aloe Vera helped me to save the skin. Thanks!

Efrat and her family are truly wonderful, warm, welcoming and sincere hosts. From the time I arrived to when I left, they were all so friendly and kind. The room was lovely; it's a cute space that's also really peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and it was a good sleep every night. In the morning you can hear chickens clucking, it's generally a very quiet place and it's not far from the Flea Market, Jaffa Port, the Clock Tower and beach. Efrat and Josh gave great tips on where to go and where to eat which was so helpful! The bus connections to Tel Aviv are within walking distance from their home and you can also walk it to the Flea Market and beach. Thank you for hosting me; I had such an amazing time and am glad to have met you

Efrat and Josh's home was a lovely place with two adorable dogs. I immediately felt welcomed and Efrat gave me some tips on where to go to find the flea market in Jaffa. Josh is a really cool guy too!

Had great time at Efrad and his family’s house. Very easy to talk with. Close to Old Jaffa, loved the flea market there! Recommend them 100%.

I love travelling, I'll just get that out of the way now ;) It's one of my favorite things. I've been to a lot of places including India, Nepal, Mexico, Guatemala (LOVE), the US and a lot more.

I'm married to a wonderful guy, mom to a great girl, and owner of two cute dogs.

Fancy hotels are ok and all, but we'd rather be in a tent or a home travelling the less touristy route.

When I'm not travelling, I work in green building helping people make their homes better for themselves and the environment.

Happy travels!
