The space
Feel free to utilize anything in our cabin, as well as the fire pit. There is a small table and two chairs to enjoy the water/nature view. The cabin is studio style, approx 350 sq ft, and we have maximized the space nicely! Guests do love the full size bathroom and nice hot showers!

We have stocked our home full of everything you would need during your stay, except food! We do however leave microwave popcorn, and top ramen/cup of noodles for guests. You will find a bottle of wine waiting for you upon your arrival, unless you prefer to not have it, then please let us know. There is microwave popcorn to enjoy with the movies you might watch!

We have lots of games and puzzles and movies to occupy your time.

Outside you will enjoy a deck facing the water, enjoy your coffee out there! During winter time we have limited furniture, just a few chairs and small table.

There is no river access from our property, please do not utilize the bank on our property to get closer to the water, there are no stairs, just shrubs and greenery, and is not set up as an access point to the water. The area itself provides several trail heads and beach access points.

Guest access
Enjoy our entire cabin, including washer and dryer while you stay.

Other things to note
Our cabin is along HWY 112, which runs through town up into neah bay, traffic can be consistent depending on day and time of day. You will hear traffic noise as well from cars and logging trucks also depending on the time you are traveling, we have found that the weekends seem to be s but lighter with the traffic noise. Our cabin does sit back a bit on the property, and is shielded by shrubbery in the front, but still sits on a heavily traveled roadway. Spring and summer will see an increase in traffic due to fishing season, through September.

When traveling up HWY 112, please note it is a windy road that narrows in places, with dips and turns along the way.

With the road being heavily traveled and the area area that can be very dark during the winter months, we ask that you please follow our special arrival notes below

Special arrival notes:

Daytime arrival: we do recommend backing into our driveway, it will make leaving easier as you pull into traffic, it is a heavily traveled roadway. You will be able to see where there driveway ends, as it is not far from the yard/bank edge to the water.

After dark arrival: please do not back in the driveway, pull straight in, our driveway is long, it does have a log and reflectors but it isn't too far from the yard/bank edge to the water.

There is no river access from our property, please do not utilize the bank on our property to get closer to the water, there are no stairs, just shrubs and greenery, and is not set up as an access point to the water. The area itself provides several trail heads and beach access points.

Location

Clallam Bay, Washington, United States

We are located in be small town of Clallam bay, just below the fishing town of sekiu, and neah bay. Lots of great beaches, and trails within walking distance of our cabin.

There is a Co-op right up the street that has great food items, essentials, and lots of other great things, you can also get breakfast, lunch and dinner too!

There is a gas station that carries lots of essentials too, and an espresso stand as well. The visitor center is a wealth of information regarding the area!

There is one restaurant just about a mile up the way from our cabin called The Breakwater, we have eaten there for years and enjoy it!

On your way to us you will pass through Sequim and Port Angelas, both would be your last major towns to stop and grab anything you need, think Costco, Walmart, etc. Clallam bay does have a gas station and convenience store.

HWY 112 is a heavily traveled highway and we do HIGHLY recommend doing this part of your journey during the daylight hours, it can be very dark and is a pretty curvy drive. The location of our cabin can be dark too depending the time of year, but especially fall and winter.

If you want to grab something to eat along the way but didn't stop in sequim or Port Angela's, that's ok, there are some additional options before you get to us

Along HWY 112 there are a couple of places to stop:

Blackberry cafe
One 12

We are a family of four that loves the outdoors, fishing, hiking etc. We have been traveling to the Clallam Bay Area for 20 plus years on our annual family fishing trips and were just delighted to find this fantastic little tin cabin. We spent this past summer completely redoing the interior from top to bottom to reflect our own personal style. We hope you enjoy the space we have created as much as we do.
