Nice, modern flat with a central location. Walking distance to the center of the city, and to Grünerløkka. Close to public transportation like the tram and buses that will easily bring you to the places you like to go in, and around Oslo.
Even though the apartment is cental, it is calm and quiet and situated close to the river, Akerselva. The flat has two floors. The entrance is from 4th floor, there you have the kitchen and the living room. Downstairs you have 2 bedrooms and a bath room, one cosy with a double bed and a smaller with a bed you have to climbe. The last one will easily 'host' two people really found of each other. This bed is not suitable for smaller kids. The flat is completely renovated this summer. With its light colors its a delicate and pleasant place to stay. The atmosphere is good and relaxing. There is also a shared roof terrace with a nice view to the city.
The flat is situated in the Design and Architechture (DoGa) building. This building is from the outset the oldest transformator station in Oslo. In 2005 it was renovated and today it hosts the Design and Architecture center, Norsk Form, Mad Architecture as well as 43 smaller apartments. The project has got several prizes for implementing modern architecture to old architecture.
Other things to note
I do not have any television as I use my lap top to watch TV and films. And when I leave the flat I bring my lap top. So if you´re really dependent on watching TV and do not bring your lap top, then this place might not be appropriate for you.
