Casale di Cellole is a restored farmhouse in the heart of the Chianti region. Less than six miles from Siena, it is located on a hill near the cloisters known locally as Certosa di Pontignano. The complex is made up of a main house and several barns spread out among the olive groves, vineyards and woods, which are home to deer, pheasants and hares
The farmhouse is divided into four apartments: the home of the owner and three other apartments named River, Zoo, and Moon.
The "Moon" apartment enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding landscape. A stone staircase that is located inside the main courtyard, leads in the apartment.
Once you reach the top of the stairs, a small landing gives access to the lounge overlooking the courtyard with a fireplace, a sofa, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
Moon has two double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom (one with bath, one with shower). The window of each room overlooks the garden and the surrounding hills.
Outside, the large garden full of flowers houses a use of the apartment, with a table for lunches and dinners, and spaces for resting and relaxation. An ancient stone basin has been transformed into a small communal pool that offers refreshment during the hot summer days.
