The neighbourhood is a peaceful and safe area. There are beautiful views to the mountains and lake. The area is quiet and the night sky is stunning.
The Black House is close to the centre of town and a short drive to the Tekapo Springs Hot Springs. Outdoor Ice Skating is also available in the winter months.
