A typical Tuscan farm in the center of the Chianti region, surrounded by cypress hills, vineyards and olive-trees; a large garden and a swimming pool to relax.
The most important cities of art and culture in Tuscany are just one hour far.

The space

The apartment is on the first floor of the villa; it's composed of two bedrooms with double beds (plus an additional bedroom, see below); there is a large living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Additional beds can be added in each room.

For groups of five or more paying guests there is an additional double bedroom and an additional bathroom with toilet and basin (no hot water!). An additional bed can be added in this bedroom too, so the apartment can host up to nine people.

Guest access

In front of the villa is a nice garden where you can have lunch; in the rear garden you will find the swimming pool.

Interaction with guests

My father lives in the same villa, so he will always be willing to help you with any need or to advice.

Other things to note

The third bedroom and the spare bathroom are available for group of five or more people. The swimming pool is available between June and August.

Our stay at the house was fantastic just what we were looking for! Our party was 5 girls and we had a wedding over there. Roberto booked us taxis and told us places to eat near by. He was very friendly and helpful! The house itself was very spacious and clean. We did get bite quite a lot from the Mosquitos so just make sure you take lots of spray. Roberto was kindly enough to give us some spray and aloe Vera to help the bites! I would suggest hiring a car as the nearest supermarket is 15 mins drive. The pool and garden area was great and very quiet and great to just chill and sunbathe. We would definitely come back and stay thank you for having us Roberto Maxine

As a family of four with two young children (7, 3) we were a little nervous booking a self catering property abroad via Airbnb but we needn't have worried. The description and photos were accurate and booking and email exchanges simple and friendly, On arrival, we were welcomed by Roberto who spoke great English and was very friendly and helpful both during check in and throughout our stay. There was complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, home made olive oil and wine ready for us in the kitchen and Roberto also gave us a basket of his home grown tomatoes which were very tasty and kindly put children's furniture and some toys out in the garden. The property is traditionally decorated and well facilitated. Shutters and mosquito nets on the windows kept the rooms lovely and dark at night or for siestas and creepy crawlies out! Plenty of hot water for showers and baths, and all utensils you need in the kitchen. There is no TV - (which we loved actually!) but wifi in some of the rooms (not for streaming TV or films though.) It was exceptionally hot in Tuscany when we were there (41 degrees) so it was difficult at night, but Roberto provided a large moveable fan to help with this and it's not like we can blame the weather on the proprietor! There was ample space in every room and we really did feel at home. We enjoyed being away from it all, but you definitely need a car. We found a supermarket about 15 minutes drive away near a lovely square of restaurants, small shops and pubs; although we didn't happen to frequent any of these during our stay. We did travel to Florence (45mins) Siena (1hr) and Pisa (1hr) from the property and with a sat nav they weren't difficult drives at all. But the main plus of this property, (alongside the friendliness of Roberto,) is the private pool set in a lovely garden with fruit trees, multiple sunbeds, treehouse and beach towels supplied. A decent sized pool, the same depth throughout meant the four of us could play games, swim, float on lilos or toys and jump/dive in to our hearts content, without getting on top of each other. Many thanks to Alberto, Roberto and family for their hospitality. We would certainly recommend to families keen to get away from it all enjoy time together as a family.

Fantastic host was there when needed for advice on local information and tips for touring Tuscany. We had a great time. The pool was very welcoming at the end of some very hot days. Some great local information.

We were made to feel very welcome. If you are looking for a location with a real Tuscan feel, this is the place. The home has high ceilings, over 100 years old, with everything you need. The views are amazing, and the pool very refreshing after a day of visiting Siena, Florence, and other Tuscan towns.

Love the house, love the garden and pool, love the location. The photos don't really do this place justice. Alberto's dad (Roberto) is a lovely man who made us feel welcome and comfortable, and provided some great tips for restaurants, local shopping etc, but was always unintrusive - the perfect host. No hesitation is recommending. So relaxing! (Please note that the wifi was unreliable so if this is important to you during your stay you might need to consider this.)
