This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Situated next to our babbling brook and in our garden the Opua cottage has an open plan bedroom/kitchen and with its own bathroom/shower. Surrounded by stunning native bush and only 300 m to the beach. We provide good quality bedding, towels etc., and extra pillows.

The space
Opua is a cute small cottage that has a double and a single bed. It has an open plan kitchen and has a cute bathroom on the side deck. The deck faces the morning sun, and just below is our bbq area next to the stream.

Guest access
Opua Garden Cottage is through the gap in the fence from the carpark, past the Garden flat, and next to the stream.

Other things to note
Guests arriving at The Innlet may not be personally greeted and you could need to find your room.

Many guests also use The Innlet as their base for a day walk around the northern end of the Abel Tasman National Park.
This is the least commercialised part and you can use a bus connection at Wainui Bay where you leave your car so that you have all day to walk back along the coast from Totaranui. Check out goldenbaycoachlines.

Where you’ll be

Collingwood, Tasman, New Zealand

The Innlet is in a rural location, 300 metres from a beautiful sandy beach. Our back yard borders the Kahurangi National Park and we offer a 1 hour private bush walk with breath taking views down the middle of Golden Bay, from Farewell Spit to Separation Point. There is a large garden with a pristine forest stream, flowers, bbqs etc. 20 minutes drive brings you to some of the best rated day walks in New Zealand:
Wharariki Beach, Farewell Spit, Knuckle Hill, Moonlight Flat and the Aorere Goldfields.
Bring your kayak and we will set you off to explore the tidal estuary around Whanganui Inlet.

Myself and Misha are thrilled to be the new guardians of The Innlet. We absolutely love this piece of paradise where the stream sings amidst the native fauna, and the Ocean is a ' stones throw' away.
