Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
A stunning vineyard cottage on Felton Road with large bedroom / living area and ensuite bathroom including full size enamel bath. A deep, covered deck with table and chairs and sofa to soak in the scenery from sunrise to sunset and then take in the stunning night sky.

Situated among and overlooking highly respected vineyards. Less than 15 mins walk to five wineries / tasting rooms, and immediately opposite a 1 - 2 hour walkway that meanders through an historic gold mining area.

The space
Main Cottage (Queen size bed, sleeps 2 people):

- Tea/coffee, yoghurt, cereal & breakfast making facilities/utensils provided
- Dishwash liquid/tea towel and plastic tub available
- Refrigerator with welcome drink
- Laundry facilities onsite - washing machine & laundry powder, clothes line (outside), drying rack (inside), iron & ironing board
- BBQ located outside should you wish to cook (please, clean after use!)
- Note: There is NO KITCHEN in the Calvert cottage

It is assumed that 2 guests will share a room in Main Cottage. If more rooms are required, please check our second listing "Calvert cottages on Felton Road".

We encourage guests to sample our local fare. We are located just 1km to the wonderful Bannockburn Country Hotel and the Black Rabbit cafe. Wineries are on your doorstep and a 5 min drive takes you to Cromwell should you need a supermarket.

The cottage is located in a beautiful rural setting, right in the middle of a working vineyard. It is quiet, peaceful and tranquil. You can relax sitting outside overlooking the landscape of vines and mountains. If you feel like exploring there is a wonderful walk, through historic mining sluicings, situated across the road from the vineyard. From anywhere on the walk you will get spectacular views over the Cromwell.
You are also spoilt for choice for cellar doors within walking distance. They include Mt Difficulty, Domain Road, Dessert Heart, Gate 22 and Felton Road (by appointment only).
