Stay in our spacious double room in our welcoming, comfortable family home and expercience what the Irish countryside has to offer.

We live on a quite country road that's away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Our home was built 15 years ago by my husband Timmy and is surrounded by a large mature garden.

We are a friendly family with 2 sons aged 21&16 and 2 friendly dogs.

We don't provide breakfast and this is reflected in our price. Unfortantly no access to the kitchen at the moment

The space
This is our family home and is occupied most of the time. There is nearly always somebody here to greet our guests and help them settle in for their stay. If for any reason we won't be at home on our guests arrival, every effort will be made to contact our guest and give them detailed instructions on how to check in.

The accommodation area consists of a double bed in a large spacious room, with bed lockers, a chest of drawers and a table and chairs. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided in the bedroom as well as booklets leaflets and brouchers of things to do and places of interest in Co. Kerry.

The bathroom is next door and is privately for the guests use as we have 2 other bathrooms in the house. Toiletries and towels are also provided for our guests use.

The guest accommodation is reached by a very small hallway making it feel slightly separate and more private from the rest of our home.
All of the guests accommodation space is on the ground floor.

We have a large mature colourfull garden that we welcome our guests to explore and enjoy.
We also have a couple of outdoor areas for eating if the weather is suitable and invite guests to feel free to use these if they would like some alfresco dining, or simply enjoy a glass of wine after a long day sightseeing.

There is plenty of free parking on site and we can provide indoor areas for storing bicycles overnight.

Our road is quite and peaceful and lovely for an evening stroll. A quick 10 minute walk takes you to where you have stunning views down over Kerry Airport, Farranfore Village and parts of Tralee town aswell. We are blessed to have views of the Macgillycuddy Reeks and the Slieve Mish Mountains to our back and the Stack Mountains to our front.

As our area is in rural setting it can be very quite and peacefull taking you away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Guest access
Unfortantly due the current climate we are not allowing access to the kitchen as it is our family's main living space.

We will gladly offer any help or advice needed for your stay in Co.Kerry and have also provided brouchers and maps of the area in the guest room.

Our garden is also something we are quite proud of and we welcome guest's to enjoy our outdoor space. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas for relaxing in or even enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine before bed. We also have a couple of outdoor eating areas guests are welcome to use.

Other things to note
As this is our family home we ask that guests treat our place with care and respect.

While we have guests staying with us we will be continuing about our daily lives so guests must be aware that normal family life and noise will be heard although we make ever effort to keep it at a minimum. If for some reason there will be extra activity or noise we will make guests fully aware of it.

If guests are uncomfortable with our dogs we will do our best to accommodate them by keeping the dogs inside while guests are outside and outside while guests are inside. We fully respect that some people do not like or feel comfortable around dogs.

We live in a rural location so it is best to have your own transport as the nearest bus/train stop is in Farranfore village which is 2.2km away from us. Airport, bus and train collections and drop off can be arranged with local taxi drivers if needed just let us know in advance.

Care should also be taken when traveling on our road as it is narrow and because our area is mainly an agricultural community it is possible to meet heavy machinery while traveling on it or even come across the odd traffic jam caused by cows heading for their twice daily milking especially during the summer months.
