CASA GUADALUPE 2 is a lovely two bedroom home. The main part of the house has a full kitchen and combination living room & dining room. The second bedroom is on the mezzanine level below and small but it does have its own bathroom. An added bonus is the beautiful Mirador (roof top patio) which has great views of the city.
If you are interested in renting both Guadalupe 1 and 2 for a larger group please make contact. It is possible to sleep up to 7 if you rent the entire property.

The space

HOUSE DESCRIPTION: Two bedrooms with two bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom is on the mezzanine level and is quite small. It is fine for a child but the bed is to narrow for an adult although it does have its own bath and shower. The house also includes a large rooftop lounging area which is partially covered. This rooftop mirador is shared with our other two bedroom house Guadalupe 1 and has fabulous views of the city.

MAID SERVICES: We provide maid service three days a week to wash your clothes, clean the house, make your beds, wash your dishes and take care of the many plants that grace the property. Marta works at the house Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Guest access

GUEST ACCESS: Our guests will have sole access to Casa Guadalupe 2 with their own keys. The rooftop mirador is shared with Casa Guadalupe 1. The house has a street door as well as a front door which both lock for excellent security.

Interaction with guests

PRIVACY AND SERVICE: This is a vacation rental and our guests are the sole occupants. I have a house manager, who speaks good english, should you need anything during your stay. Upon renting the property I will provide you with additional information about the house and San Miguel de Allende. I am always available via email or phone to answer any questions you might have to help prepare you for your vacation.

Other things to note

RENTING BOTH GUADALUPE 1 & 2: It is possible to rent both houses which are connected and sleep a total of 6 people. Please contact me if you are interested and I can quote you a price. This of course is dependent on both houses being available.

HOUSE RULES: My house manager charged $25 to meet you at the house, day or night, give you the keys, show you the heaters and get you situated. Guests pay her directly upon their arrival and this is in addition to the rent paid for on there AirBnB site. There is no smoking in the house but you can smoke in the outside areas. The gas heaters should be turned off at night when you are sleeping and when you are not in the house. The heaters are only necessary a few months out of the year. Please lock all doors with the keys provided when you leave the house and also at night. The roof top mirador is a shared space so please treat your fellow renter with courtesy if both houses are rented. Please use the air conditioning sparingly and turn off when not in the house.

San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful town and Casa Guadalupe definitely added to the experience. Beautiful, rustic charm in a great location. Rooftop deck is fantastic. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Getting keys was easy and on street parking was very convenient.

Craig's place is so quaint and fresh and unique. When I walked in I thought, "This is just what I wanted." Really comfy bed and bedding, nice lay-out, nice neighborhood and those colorful walls. Craig made it really easy to find the place and get settled. Perfect San Miguel pad!

Agent was there to greet us and give us the rundown on the place. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood, yet close to the center. Great restaurants and stores a short walk away. Great view from roof and private patio outside kitchen. NO PRIVACY. Everything, including bathroom and shower, is wide open. But there is a second bathroom with door downstairs outside the unit if privacy is needed.

Beautiful full Mexican style house. Well located. We loved staying there. The second room is extremely tiny and very cold at night time, also the shower in that room didn't have hot water. Great rooftop and amazing views!! We only stayed two nights but it was lovely!

Response from Craig:
Hi Ariana, Glad you enjoyed your stay. I will let the house manager know about the hot water right away. There are space heaters in the house that Marta could have provided for you. All the best, Craig Lovell
