Kaitlyn did call and let me know about the other guests going into the room. The other guests did not carefully read the checking in instructions, and thought that their room was upstairs, but it was downstairs as it clearly stated in the checking in correspondence with the guests. How they got into the room was not because they had the lock box code, I clearly gave them the code for downstairs and have air Bnb correspondence proof of that.
They got in because they had mistakenly thought the upstairs unit was their room and the door was left unlocked by Kaitlyn.
I did not call Kaitlyn back after our first phone conversation because she said that everything was figured out, after she told me what happened, and all was okay, and they made friends with them, so I didn’t even think it was as awkward as she stated.
As far as the shower goes, we’re are in the process of replacing the water heater.
