What can you do while you’re staying at the Cook’s Loft on Te Puhi farm?
Walk across 35 acres of farm land and say hello to the friendly sheep. Admire the thousands of trees Biggsy has planted in the last twenty years - including blocks of native trees, the lemon and olive grove and the long back driveway lined with Stone Pines.
Wander through the gardens and stop for a while in the shade of the fern Garden. You’re welcome to pull a weed or two, if you get the urge.
Collect eggs from the chook run or pick organically grown vegetables, citrus or fruit for your dinner. Paddle in the creek and pick watercress.
There’s a BBQ you can use and plenty of parking.
Other things to note
We have three male cats and they are all farm cats, very used to living outside. Please don’t invite them into The Cook’s Loft as they may spray over the curtains, the chairs and your property.
