Great fully-equiped independent apartment with a large kitchen. Stayed there for a month and started feeling like home. Nice neighborhood. Very quiet at night (except for wildlife), despite closeness to East-West Hwy. About 15 min walk to metro station (I never tried the shuttle that passes right by the house). New Whole Foods store a few blocks away, also Safeway and other stores not too far away on foot. Only issue was lack of laundry facilities on-site. Hosts were seldom seen, but were friendly and helpful if needed. They provided many unexpected goodies as a starter-pack, making for a nice warm welcome.

Liz and Rusty were super welcoming and helpful and responsive. I got I late but Liz and Rusty were there to help me get in. With some fresh bagels and fruits, juices, wine beer. Internet stopped once and Rusty fixed it as soon as I told them. The place is close to where they live but also private so that you don't interrupt and get interrupted. It is like as advertised. Prince george metro is walkng distance and Whole Foods and other shops are about 10 mins walking distances. I would recommend staying here. I worked at UMD and it worked out great for me.

This was my second stay at Liz and Rusty's. They are exceptional hosts. I highly recommend their place to anyone. The apartment is always in great condition, clean, and has everything you will need. Liz and Rusty will take care of anything you need in a heartbeat. Location is great. You will be close to The Mall at Prince Georges, Safeway, Whole Foods, and the Prince George's Plaza metro station - about 25 minutes away from DC. If I find myself in the Maryland-DC area looking for a place to stay, I won't hesitate to book Liz and Rusty's again.

This was our first trip to the Washington, D.C. area and our first time using Airbnb. We had a really wonderful experience. Liz and Rusty's carriage house suited our needs perfectly. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Liz greeted us and showed us the place. She had kindly left some food items to get us started--yummy bagels, bananas, cookies, and a few other items. Everything was extremely clean which is really important to us. The bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We loved having a full kitchen so we could prepare breakfast before leaving for the day. There are many options for grocery shopping, shopping, and eating very close by. We flew into BWI and rented a car. There was free parking on the street next to the property, and we never had a problem finding a space. We used the metro every day to get to Washington. It is about a mile from the place, but to save on walking, we drove to the station each day. Parking is free on the weekends and only $4.60 per day during the week. We would have used the free neighborhood shuttle which was so convenient, but we got back too late each night to use the service. It was nice to be able to drive home from the station after a long day of sightseeing. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay nor could we have been treated better. If we ever are lucky enough to return to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Liz and Rusty's apartment was perfect! My husband and I were there to do research at the National Archives in College Park (and this Airbnb listing is DEFINITELY the best deal for anyone else doing the same), but it was close to the PG Plaza Metro Stop for a short ride into D.C. Liz and Rusty were friendly and easy to communicate with--a great place all around! Wish I could give it ten stars!

Life long Maryland residents. Love spending time on both coasts though - we enjoy relaxing at our beach house on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, as well as visiting our daughter and her family in Sonoma County, California.
