The comfortably modernised Apartment for up to seven guests is placed on the second floor in the acclaimed World Heritage site of Calton Hill right at the centre of Edinburgh and just 100 metres from Princes Street and Royal Mile.

This charming apartment at the heart of Edinburgh is full of character and combines comfortable and spacious accommodation with magnificent views of the Old Town till to the Sea and the city centre.

The space

Despite a venerable past this apartment is now comfortably modernised with Central Heating System.
A kitchen fully fitted for all holiday requirements has a Cooker with Oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, Coffee Machine, Toaster, Kettle and a large dining table comfortably able to seat 8 people.

As you would expect there is also a comfortable sittingroom tastefully furnished for relaxation which offers TV, DVD and Wifi Broadband connections. The facilities of the apartment also include a recently renovated shower room resplendent with marble mosaics and gold fittings. The Sleeping accommodation includes two good sized double bedrooms (one twin bedded) and a neat single bedroom. Children of all ages are very Welcome and so please ask for a highchair or cot.
The apartment overlooks a small garden at the front which guests are welcome to use.
Many of our many guests tell us what they find so special about 24 Calton Hill is the harmonious blend of past and present character which we hope you can clearly see in the photographs and of course all mention the wonderful views of the historic Old Town and UNESCO World Heritage site of Calton Hill with its famous monuments.

Direct next to the Apartment is the Calton Hill , this is a hill in central Edinburgh, situated beyond the east end of Princes Street with a very very nice Views over the City. The Waverley Train Station, the Airport Bus Station and the Tram Station are just 150 meter to walk. The most of the Edinburgh Attractions are in a walking distance.

We really enjoyed staying at the apartment as it was so close to central Edinburgh. The apartment had everything that we needed and was spacious as it had 3 bedrooms. It was 5 mins walk to the train and to the tram that brought us in from the airport. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Uwe but Amanda was waiting for us when we arrived and was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend that you stay here if you are wanting accomodation very close to the central city.

The best location in all of Edinburgh. Pick up point for out of town bus tours was just around the corner. Tram stop from airport a few blocks away. The direct connecting street to the Royal Mile a block away. Once needed a taxi and just a two minute walk down to the train station we found available taxis. Edinburgh our best holiday ever!

We had a wonderful stay at Uwe's place. The apartment is incredibly charming with wonderful views of the city, all while still being within walking distance to many city center attractions. Additionally, Uwe was a great host - good communication, and took care of basic amenities (shampoo/conditioner/laundry detergent/etc). Everything was great and would stay again!
