Turn of the Century home, original wood work. Three bedrooms, 2 twin beds, 2 king size beds, and one full size futon that can sleep 2. This house is two stories with the bedrooms on the 2nd level. Two bathrooms, one on the main level with shower only, the 2nd bathroom is on the 2nd floor and has a jet massage tub only.

The space
Special rates for extended stays. Please inquire, reach out to me for rates. It is the Bare Essentials hence the name Bare Bones. But that is why it is so cheap. $60 per night (for the first person and up) for the entire house up to 6 guests, more with approval. All the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Our home is not handicap accessible so if you need help in getting up the stairs this home is probably not for you. Your will have off road parking for 2 vehicles and more upon approval. We live right next door and are here to help.

Guest access
You will have the entire house to yourself including the kitchen and washer and dryer. You can park 2 vehicles in the long driveway as long as you keep them on the Eastern most side of the driveway. We use the west side of the drive - we live right next door and have an abundance of vehicles.

Other things to note
We live in a small community with a convenience shop which is also a full local grocery store. We also have a Dollar General store that supplies a few food items and daily essentials if you forgot something. We have 1 gas station and a parts store. We have several places to eat but the hours vary so check websites. Downtown is the Pour House, formerly Yokels Hardware, that serves beer and wine and has small plates. A chic place with ambiance for our small town. Morning and early afternoons you can catch a bite at the Qwik 6 gas station on the East end of town. The Country Club - open to the public serves supper (aka dinner - the 3rd meal of the day). And lastly the Daisy Queen (only open during the summer). We have a great public golf course.

I am so pleased you chose our place. I am a stay-at-home wife who works part to full time as a Field Interviewer for the University of Michigan. Even though I work for the U of Michigan my allegiance lies with my Alma Mater, Kansas State University. I promise I won't judge you for cheering on the Huskers if you don't judge me. I consider myself a cautious adventurist. I love to kayak and camp. Although the older I get the more I like hotel rooms or Airbnb places! I believe in prayer and hope that I am remembered as a prayer warrior when my time here on earth is up.
