BreakfastThis is one of few homes in this area that has this feature.

The price is for up to two people, and includes breakfast. My home is a detached house in a quiet residential street in Wivenhoe, five minutes drive from the University and ten minutes walk from the waterfront and the station (London 1 hour 10 mins). I offer a double bedroom at the back of the house, overlooking the garden, with exclusive use of a bathroom (not en suite). The room has TV and wi-fi, and there is free parking in the street. All welcome.

Definitely stay with Tom if you're in Wivenhoe. He was a great host and picked us up from the station, pointing out directions to the wedding venue we were going to along the way. We were incredibly comfortable there and his house and garden are beautiful. Breakfast was tasty too…

Amazing host, went way beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome. Beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable accommodation, a short walk from the centre of Wivenhoe - and a fantastic breakfast! Tom was a congenial and gracious host with great local knowledge and tips…

Retired, after a varied career in teaching, publishing and voluntary sector management, and back home after sailing the western Mediterranean, I spend much of my time drawing and painting, and visiting the London galleries, cooking for my friends, and enjoying my community.
