We loved to stay at Ilgar's home. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. His wife made us feel welcome immediately and Ilgar gave us detailed information about the activities that we could do. Thanks a lot for hosting us in your house!

Ilgar's house is a great place to stay. - It is located in a very quiet place, and everything is as on the photos. - Host is really nice man with great mentality. You'll enjoy conversation with him, and I'd like to once again visit Sheki, and stay in this house. - You can get any kind of information that you need from Ilgar, which makes you easier to travel -> I recommend you staying in Ilgar's house! Thank you for warm hospitality!

Ilgar is a wonderful host. Not only made breakfast for us, but also spent whole day showing us the best places around Sheki! Definitely recommend!

It was indeed a joy to stay with Ilgar because not only is he a great host, but also a knowledgeable tour guide that is well connected with the local people. This is especially great if you do not speak the local language. He is very accommodating, friendly and always willing to assist if you need advice on where to go. Ilgar, thank you for going out of your way in trying to help me find a great carpet souvenir from Sheki. What is also not mentioned is that there is a lovely small bakery that bakes fresh bread daily just 5 minutes away from Ilgar's residence which I discovered one morning. Just the aroma and watching of bread being baked freshly was indeed a real treat to brighten my morning.

Ilgar is very hospitable and knowledgeable about everything in Sheki. If Ilgar can't help you, it probably can't be done in Sheki. The house is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Most people seem to spend no more than a day or two in Sheki, which is really a shame. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Or just relax and have another cup of tea at Sultan House. My girlfriend and I spent 4 delightful days at Ilgar's. We highly recommed staying there!

Ilgar is surely the best and most hospitable host I have ever encountered. He helped us solve any problems that arose, was welcoming, brought us hiking to discover the hidden spots of his beautiful town, and served us breakfast. Some things could be better, such as the size of the space given, especially when dealing with big groups. Still, Ilgar is amazing and I would surely recommend him as a host!

Ilgar was great!! ! Extremely positive experience. He helped arrange taxis, a hike with a guide, and provided great recommendations for Sheki in terms of things to do and places to eat. If you are in Sheki, Ilgar's is the place to stay!
